Zoo Med Wood Tortoise House

This product is well worth the money. I assembled it in about 30 minutes. One tip, leave all screws loose until you have all the sides and bottom screws started. Makes it much easier to line up the holes. Bottom was a little bowed, but it was bowed out and once you sit the house on a flat surface it will flatten out. Not a big deal. I would purchase again.

This is a great product only draw back was the holes didnt always line up...lined the bottom of cage with tile to avoid the wood getting ruined by water from his bowl when he climbs in and gets water everywhere. My Sulcata loves it about to purchase another one for my red foot.

Bought this for my red footed tortoise. He loves it, plenty of room to roam around and he loves the hiding room. Only bad thing is if its in doors be careful when you pour the dirt on the bottom because some of it will spill out of the sides.

My tortoise loves it. Definitely roomy. We took the divider that separates the little house thing out for more roaming room and he didnt like going into it.

It molds. It sucks. Dont buy it. The wood is crappy and it doesnt fit together properly. Hate it. I returned it.

This is SO SUPER CUTE! It works great and my tortoises LOVE their new home! I think it is adorable that it is named Tortoise House because its EXACTLY what it is! They had a very similar yet larger enclosure before but have quickly and happily adjusted--safe from the cats. Thank you so very much! QUALITY!

Everything about this product is perfect!! Great size. Easy access. Easy build.

Perfect size, easy to assemble, he loves his new house. Otis has plenty of room to explore, I put a lot of substrate in the bottom so he can dig. Its easier to clean if you line the bottom with a garbage bag or some sort of plastic and then stack newspapers on top of the plastic lining.

Item arrived on schedule and was in original package, no extra but it arrived without damage so I would say it was sufficient. Nice wood, took two of us to put together in about an hour. The screws were all packaged nicely in marked packages which was very helpful. We did use a drill for the side panels as the screws went into some hard wood and we did this to avoid any possible splitting of wood. The balance either fitted in or screwed in just fine. We did coat the bottom to avoid any future water damage. We will eventually purchase a 2nd to give our tortoise more room as he grows.
