This tortoise enclosure is perfect for our small Russian. Easy to assemble and very sturdy!!

It is a little larger than I had expected but it is nice that the turtle has room to move around. It is a nice size for two or more.

I already had one of these cages for my Russian tortoise, but we decided to get another one to give her more space. The first time we got this product, there was some difficulty putting it together (i.e., the holes were not spaced correctly) but no tools but a screwdriver were required and it worked fine after a while of wrestling with the wood. This time, however, almost all of the holes are drilled in the wrong place (all by at least 1/9) and we had to remove almost all of the hinges and re-drill all of the holes, including those that didnt already have screws in them. There was a huge gap between the sleeping part and the main part, and we had to drill some more holes to fix that. If youre handy with tools and dont mind doing a little extra work, this would work fine. Maybe we just got a freak mistake cage, but I found it very frustrating after all the Easy to put together -- nothing but a screw driver required. On the good side, 2 of these cages put together work great for my tortoise. She loves the extra space, and the cage is extremely aesthetically pleasing and the wood fits in well with almost any decor. The cage is sturdy once its all put together, and cleaning it is a breeze. All in all, I was disappointed in the quality of the work on the cage, but I love it once its set up.

Will order another to connect them for my tortoise

For starters the box is really spongy wood, and when it got here the box was beat up. So somebof the wood pieces were warped and broken. I still decided it wasnt all that bad and it took a long time to recieve the box I wasnt going to order another one. So I built the box, it is really self explanatory really easy to build. Overall a little disappointed with the material and the state I received the package and items.

Order for my hatchling sulcata tortoise. It doesnt all sit right but my fiance was able to get it sturdy to where its all holding together. I have another one i use for my Russian tortoise as well. Iv had it for 3 years now and its holding up amazing as well!!

Very disappointed . The wood falls apart way too easy. Should have had it built then buying this . Not worth the money !!

As others have said, this is a great option for housing a small tortoise. The wood quality leaves something to be desired and needs to be treated and sealed if you want to use if outside or for a long period of time. Assembly is easy, altogether it took maybe 20 minutes to seal and 20 minutes to assemble. My russian tortoise loves it and its a much better option than a comparatively priced glass terrarium.
