> 3 dayMorris, my daughters tortoise, is loving his new house. It was easy to put together and gave him a LOT more room than his aquarium. He loves the private box for sleeping. This has been the best purchase we have made for a pet in quite some time.

Greater than one weekSeems tui be good enough quality and easy to put together. Working great for two baby leopard tortoises.

> 3 dayVery cheap and the corners on the frame for the wired top came split open. Was not pre-drilled for screws either. Solid top on the one side of the enclosure is basically falling in right out of the box. Next time I will just buy a bin and save about $75.00 over this thing. Too poorly made for the price.

> 3 dayThis thing is awesome. I had my baby sulcata in a glass aquarium thingy and quickly realized it was too small and didnt provide the correct temp gradient and cool areas. My sulcata is only 2.5 inches long and he has this thing to himself! Its massive! The box actually says it can house up to 6 babies so little Tiddles is feeling like a tortoise playa in his mansion.... (cue Dr Dre music)

02-11-2024I was a bit worried about ordering this from some of the reviews here, but it went together quite easily. Yes, I took woodshop in 9th grade and I have some very basic knowledge about tools, etc. And yes, you do have to pay attention. If you have never done any kind of wood project I could see maybe messing this up. And I would not recommend using any kind of power tool cause the wood is fairly soft. But I am very impressed with it for the money. Ill update my review later if it starts falling apart, but so far so good.

> 3 dayI have a 6 Russian tortoise who came in a terrarium. Doing some research I discovered theyre much better off in an environment without clear walls so they dont feel so exposed. Lots of people design their own tortoise tables, but being not so into carpentry and without a toolshed, I went with the ZooMed Tortoise House. I think its well worth the money. It was easy to put together. Yes one side pops out a little, but the locks hold everything in place. I have since purchased another and doubled them up to give my tortoise more space. If you want the houses to actually attach, its up to you to do it. Another thing is you will have to reattach one roof on the opposite side. Not being very handy, I just removed all the hardware on the second house. The roof just sits and isnt attached, but thats fine. The houses dont line up exactly due to warping, but only a small amount of dirt trickles out. I put some contact paper on the outside to mitigate this.

> 3 dayVery pleased with the tortoise house. My tortoise will have plenty of growing room. Recommend a partner to help hold pieces together when assembling. One wrong move and youll have a long screw accidentally go through wrong way. I didnt, thank goodness :-)

> 3 dayI had been looking to order the Tortoise House for a long time but could never make the plunge. Im glad I did! Was able to construct it alone with only a screwdriver. I wish I had a drill, but it was manageable without one. The directions are fairly clear and there are videos for the DIY construction on Youtube and Petcos website. My tortoise LOVES his new environment. Ive rested the heat lamp on top of the wire and it hasnt been a problem. The space is nice, I wish the hideaway space was a bit smaller so he has more room to roam and still has the option of using the sleeper box.

> 3 dayWe bought this for our new Russian tortoise and it seems to be working out very well. It was pretty easy to assemble, but required 2 people to attach the base because it was a bit warped. The enclosure gives plenty of room for a food bowl, extra large reptile ramp, and theres enough space for the UV lamp to hang over the cage and warm one side. Our tortoise seems like it much better than a glass enclosure, and every evening she goes into the closed side to sleep, then comes out in the morning for sun, food, etc. Shes about 5 inches big, so if your tortoise is much bigger then this cage might be too small.

> 3 dayPoor quality materials. Very flimsy. Pieces broke while removing from the box. Although great design.
