This works great for my cat since he doesnt know when to stop eating. If I put a bowl of food out for the day, hell eat everything in one sitting and then throw up from being too full. So, I bought this auto feeder and decided to set small portions throughout the day, multiple times a day so hes able to digest his food properly instead of regurgitating everything right after eating. Ive had it for about a year now or longer and its worked perfectly since.

I bought this to feed an outdoor cat and I love it! It took a while to get the correct portions down but it was easy to do. I simply fill the container with dry food and the feeder does the rest. It dispenses the right portions at the times I chose. And it is poach proof! We frequently have racoons that help themselves to the cats food and although they did eat whats was in the bowl they could not get past the locking lid! I know because their paw prints on the feeder was evidence of their tenacity to infiltrate! This is well worth the money! The cat took right to it!

Im very pleased with this product so far. I had to replace a different automatic feeder that had served well for years before it broke, but could only hold four servings. This product holds enough dry food for weeks at a time. The programing is a little counter intuitive. But its not really that hard once you figure it out. The instructions were decent. I like most everything about this design. The dish is stainless steel and removable. The dispenser unit is separable from the dish. The dispensing mechanism is precise and controllable--it seems to be about ⅛ a cup per turn and can be programed to dispense up to 5 turns worth--over a half cup per feeding. The only (minor) complaint is that it is a bit loud as the kibble hits the steel bowl. The 6:00 AM feeding sort of serves as an alarm. w

Ive been using two of these feeders for nearly 3 years now. Functionality wise Ive never had any issue with them working, but the portion sizes are much too big even on the smallest setting. If youve got a cat that eats fast and throws up, I do not recommend in the long run. Since I moved into a space with mostly hardwood instead of carpet Im about to retire these and buy better ones with smaller portions I can properly spread out. Again, they work just fine. But take into account how your cat(s) eat.

I purchased 2 of these for my 2 cats and I have had them for a couple of weeks now. They have worked flawlessly so far, and the set up was much easier than the other reviews led me to believe. If you have ever dealt with a digital timer for Christmas lights, or something similar, you won’t have any problem setting these up. Just follow the instructions and you will be fine. It’s true, it takes some time to figure out the portion sizes, but once you do it’s no problem! Maybe the best part is that there is no way my food motivated cats can break into these little feeders. I absolutely love them. Highly recommend.

This feeder is great for our cat. We feed two portions at a time and it is consistently 1/6th of a cup. We did not setup the voice recording option but she goes running at the sound of the food dispensing.

This thing has been great for our house hold. It helped us out our cat on a schedule that she knows by heart now. She waits by the bowl at feeding time every day. Batteries keep the feeder going in the event of power outages. No reason to chose anything else. Well done.

This does exactly what I want it to do. After a few deep breaths and about 10 minutes, I was able to figure out how to program it. The programming instructions leave much to be desired (hence the 4 stars).

Great program. Our cat does not wake us up anymore on the weekends to get fed at 6AM. This cat feeder feeds him on the schedule, every day. Great cat feeder! I strongly recommend it.

This feeder is a well built and sturdy. However, it is a pain to program the feeding times. The instructions are confusing. The amount of food dispensed is way too much unless you use the two lowest settings. Programming higher settings must be for a lion.
