I have bought 2-3 different feeders and this one by far has been my favorite. It is good looking and not as bulky as other feeders.

Bought this as a temporary feeding solution while on vacation. Setup is easy. Battery backup is a must. Programming is slightly clunky: there is no means to go to a previous setting, so if you make a mistake you have to start over. However, with a little practice you can fly through the settings. We experimented with timings and portion sizes for a week or so before our trip to fine-tune settings. Our cats go outside, so the feeder was set up on a covered patio and covered with a cheap plastic plant pot with a brick on top. Worked great and we had one stormy day while away. Since we have four cats to feed, my wish is that the feeder was available with a larger bowl. Poor darlings had to wait their turns to eat!

Figuring out the portion sizes was the most difficult however totally worth the hassle of learning! I now no longer forget to get my kids food in the morning or if I’m in a rush I automatically know that it’s going to be taken care of if I think I’m gonna be gone for a couple days due to family vacation or just work obligations I don’t need to stress about them running out of food and it’s amazing it doesn’t get stuck or clogged and it’s cleaning is super easy and stress-free! My cat also absolutely love it they know exactly when feeding time is due to the voice call! I got to one for each cat but I know that they have double bowl options however this was just easier considering it’s twice as much food storage!

We bought this feeder 2 years ago to help with portion control and because our cat seemed to handle small meals throughout the day much easier than just one in the evening and morning. We have had zero issues with it thus far. Changing the timings and portion sizes is a breeze. We set ours to dispense every 6 hours and now our cat isn’t waking us up in the middle of the night to feed her. If we leave the house for an all day thing we don’t have to worry because she’s still being fed etc. I love that the feeder has a big reservoir for the kibble. We haven’t had any issues with it getting stale. When the power has gone out, as long as you have batteries in it, it works just fine. That gave me some peace of mind. If you’re thinking about getting this feeder, just do it.

So Ive been using this product for a couple months now. And from setting it up and changing my settings a couple times this product works as expected. Going through the settings is a little difficult to learn and it did take reading the instructions once or twice for me to get the hang of it. Ive seen alot of reviews ripping this product apart for this but it really wasnt that bad. A app wouldve been nice but this is the cheapest product that does what I want and docent look weird and out of place in my home. The only thing I wish it did was allow me to change the portions and amounts fed by date. Work is later on the weekends and I would have to change it every Sunday and Friday to give my cat a little more food so she docent get too hungry waiting to get fed her wet food when I get home.

The Setup was pretty straightforward and easy. Manual includes pretty much all the necessary steps. For the portion of the meal, you get to set from 1 portion to 50. A portion is about one tablespoon & one teaspoon (I have Orijen Cat chicken). You can also use the manual feed button (see picture 2&3) to determine how much is one portion. This is my first feeder, received the package yesterday and just had everything set up. Am so far impressed. Will update if anything goes wrong.

This automatic pet feeder is great if you have to be away for long periods of time because of work or a vacation. You can set up to 6 different times to feed and it’s pretty simply. You have the option of using batteries to keep the feeder going incase your little one knocks out the cord or the power goes out. Only thing I wish was different would be a more accurate way of distributing smaller portions cause the lowest setting feeds a good bit.

I chose this auto pet feeder for the lockability. My young kitten would probably one day want to destroy it. In my search for a feeder I couldnt find one that would tell me what the portion amount is. Not wanting to overfeed my cat is a concern and I wanted to make sure that I know how much shes getting. So far for the PETLIBRO the portions seem arbitrary. I sat and played with it and a single portion seems small. Every other rotation doesnt drop food into the bowl so I landed on 5 portions, but that seems to be too much. Now Im working my way backward on portions to see how that does. The instructions for set up are also a little confusing. I think I figured it out now. I also wish there was a dimmer to the screen brightness. My cat doesnt need her food illuminated.

Easy to set up and program, I love the recorded voice feature. My cat runs to it every time she hears her name called from it. The reserve also holds a lot!
