> 3 dayI could easily see this in Elon Musk’s house if he owned a cat or a small dog (or a 10 lb bag a human nutrient pellets). Very aesthetically pleasing and it works beautifully. My wife and I travel for work and our kitty has not missed a meal. I’ve gotten bigger/bulkier ones and either the smallest portions are way too big, or my cat figures out a way to jailbreak the lid open. The portion sizes are perfect. If i had to really nit-pick one thing it would be the touch sensor buttons are not the best, but it’s easily overlooked by it’s premium style and functionality.

> 3 dayOverall I’m pleased with the feeder. A portion, meaning many times the food is dispensed, is relatively small but you set how many portions you want to come out at a time. It locks really tight so your pets can’t get into it.

> 3 dayThis thing has been great for our house hold. It helped us out our cat on a schedule that she knows by heart now. She waits by the bowl at feeding time every day. Batteries keep the feeder going in the event of power outages. No reason to chose anything else. Well done.

> 3 dayhave revised my initial review, was a little upset initially on the inconsistency of portions and not knowing the sizes but their support team was super nice and provided the info that 20ml (1/12 of a cup) is a portion. With this info I can get the proper amount of food for the cats and will be keeping the feeder. They offered a full refund because I was unhappy initially (and outside the return date on Amazon) but because of such a great support team and them making sure the customer is happy I appreciate it a ton and will continue using it

> 3 dayI bought this feeder because my cat is super over dramatic and thinks I starve him. He’s been getting into the trash and eating things that aren’t even food! I switched him to dry food and have this feeder set to dispense food every 3 hours from 5 AM to 8 PM. With this schedule, he only received a little over a half a cup a day, but it is spaced out enough to slow his eating down and help keep him full throughout the day. After about a month, I see a real difference in my cat’s behavior! He still seeks me out for love and attention, but is starting to understand that his food is dispensed automatically on a timer. He’s been waking me up less at night and spending more time playing with toys and napping during the day instead of hunting for more snacks.

> 3 dayNeeds to have a better UI, sometimes the food doesn’t spit out all the way into the bowl and sits on the little ramp the food comes out of. Other than these 2 things this is a great product

> 3 dayPortion size seems to work. I worked on manually dispensing a single portion one at a time until I had a day amount. Then I set up the amount needed throughout the day. My cat comes running every time it goes off. My big issue is it is a stainless steel bowl. Stainless steel is not good for pets it can cause a lot of issues for pets. I wish we could switch out the bowl for something else like glass or ceramic. Other than that I definitely recommend!

Greater than one weekNew to automated feeders. Chose this one because of good looks, stainless bowl, tight locking lid and battery backup/operation. Seems well made. Note: when plugged in for power, the LEDs never sleep, I wish they did. On batteries, the LEDs sleep, but turn on briefly as the food is dispensed. The voice recording is a plus.... perhaps silly, but why not let the pet hear a familiar voice. So far, Im happy with the product. Settings are simple, just read the instructions. UPDATE JAN/23: I prefer to use this feeder minus the plug in power. The batteries worked over a two week vacation, no problems and I like not having the LEDs lit all the time, (they light up for a minute or two during dispensing, then turn off automatically). It was used outside, exposed to rain, no problems. Its easy to program, easy to clean, it looks nice and works exactly as described. The food compartment holds a lot of food and the moisture control packet in the lid really does work. To keep critters/other cats from knocking the feeder over, I made a heavy wide base and secured the feeder to it using wire and fasteners.... no damage done to the feeder and yes, it worked. Absolutely worth the money.
