> 3 dayHonestly for my little Houdini this was a waste of money, but if your animal isn’t a Houdini then this might be for you. My cat got into it in a matter of hours. Not sure how he did it either but there was food all over the floor. He also chewed the cord so I will be using batteries only now however I cannot leave him unsupervised in the same room with this feeder because cause it’s easy for him to open and flip over. I think maybe the base needs to be heavier than the rest of the unit. I also didn’t like how the bowl doesn’t stay attached; It just sits in a slot that doesn’t hold it to the unit.

> 3 dayLove how customizable the settings are. Dont have to worry about the cats food. Plus she is on a diet which this helps with. She cant over eat in one sitting cuz the portion sizes are small. She knows she will get more later so its great for metabolism. Love the backup batteries. Only took her a few days to get used to it! Definitely a good purchase!

> 3 dayThe cats come running when it dispenses food. We no longer have to be woke up by hungry cats.

> 3 dayThe Setup was pretty straightforward and easy. Manual includes pretty much all the necessary steps. For the portion of the meal, you get to set from 1 portion to 50. A portion is about one tablespoon & one teaspoon (I have Orijen Cat chicken). You can also use the manual feed button (see picture 2&3) to determine how much is one portion. This is my first feeder, received the package yesterday and just had everything set up. Am so far impressed. Will update if anything goes wrong.

> 3 dayI love that I can adjust the portion size on the feeder and that I don’t have to remember to get his food to him on time - it does it all for me now. Traveling has become a lot more easier as the feeder can hold enough kibble for when we’re away and can be there. There’s a lot of room for customizing meal sizes at different points during the day also!

> 3 dayI like this. Its tiny and it fits for a small cat. However, my cat somehow learned how to press touch buttons and got herself buffets.

> 3 dayThis has been an EXCELLENT purchase. I love the sleek and compact design, the fact that you can record a little voice memo to play when the food comes out, and how easy it is to use. Given, there was a slight learning curve for me and I accidentally caused the machine to pour out like 99 portions of food, but it was pretty simple to figure it out how to use it within minutes of setting it up. My cat is on the chonkier side and the vet said he needed to go on a diet. I tried a food ball but my cat couldn’t make the association that his source of food has changed. With this handy machine, I have made sure that he is getting the exact amount of food he needs spread out to 4 different feeding times (6:30am, 12:30pm, 6:30pm, 12:30am - 6 hours in between each meal). He doesn’t beg as often either..well, maybe he does but we now can move about in peace knowing that our cat is being fed without us having to attend to this throughout the day. This has also been super helpful given that I have times when I have to be away longer in the day for work. The only reason I considered taking a star off is because it would be EVEN better if there was a way to easily see if the food has run out or is running low. There have been a few times when I noticed there was no food coming out during meal time. But perhaps that’s on me for not checking enough. If there was some kind of warning light or notification, that would be super helpful. It would also be really cool if there was a way to also use this for wet food..but perhaps that is just because I like it when a machine can do it all. For what I wanted, this machine has definitely met the mark!!

> 3 dayThis is a great option for when we go on vacation. It only took a couple of minutes to figure out the setup and how to make it dispense the proper amount.

> 3 dayEasy set up Worked wonderfully for several days.... Then my pain in the a** lab mix figured out how to push the self serve button numerous times to clear the ENTIRE container. Lid was intact. But the adorable jerk butt ate everything as labs do. Maybe Ill just cover the buttons with tape and try again and fill with far less food. Recommend but with some supervision if you have a smart stubborn animal.

> 3 dayHave used this to feed my cat while gone for several days. You can control portions, timing and theres a battery back up. So far product works very well. Sometimes the bowl can become overfull and cause an error so getting portions right is important.
