This cat feeder is really great! I got the 5L I believe, which is a good size. Not too big, not too small. Its super easy to setup and the instructions are pretty straight forward. For anyone who has trouble with figuring out the portion sizes, I didnt measure it out. I just eyeballed it and based on how much my cat eats is how much I set the portions sizes to dispense. You can set up to 6 feeding dispenses per day and at different intervals and at different portion sizes too! Now I never had to worry about over or under feeding the cat. If how much he eats changes with age, then all I have to do is go back in and adjust the portions, timing, etc. Also, its an overall great quality built product. Super sturdy and good weight that should prevent your cat from tipping it over. The lid locks and is air tight to keep the food fresh, which is a nice touch too. I highly recommend this automatic pet feeder to anyone looking to get one.

Well, it does the job. But all in all not very impressed with the engineering of this thing. Fortunately, its not the build quality I have a problem with. It seems solid and like it will last, at least from the outside. Well see about the brains and moving parts that dispense. But, this thing requires 3 x D batteries... for backup. You cant even run it on the batteries alone. So you plug it in, and then also put in 3 x D batteries. I had to go buy D batteries since pretty much nothing uses them anymore. I have an electronic board game from the early 1980s that has a motor, makes sounds, and lights things up with incadescent bulbs... and uses 2 x D batteries. So the engineering of this device in 2022 that has an LCD display and turns a motor once or twice every few hours up to 6 times per day is less energy efficient than a 40 year old electronic toy. Meanwhile, youve got a digital display and clock that stays on permanently using power. Why? Does my cat need to know what time it is? The only time the display needs to be on is when its being programmed. And since you have to hold down the lock button anyway to get access to any control over the thing, even the manual dispense, why not have the display stay off until its unlocked? Save some power? And with the advertisement of up to 50 portions I figured portions would be pretty small so you could fine tune them to your needs. But they arent. I cant even imagine what 50 portions would be. At least half of the 3L storage would be my guess. The bowl would totally overflow. Im currently using a total of 8 portions per day... dispensing 1 portion 4 times, and 2 portions 2 times per day, and tend to empty some of the bowl back into the dispenser every couple days as leftovers pile up. Always thought my cat was a pig, but apparently 8 portions per day is too much even for him. Anyways, itll serve the purpose and dispense cat food, but its really a $30-$40 device at best, with little thought put into a sensible design and very inefficient electronics that make me suspect its longevity will come down to how long it takes the brains to fail.

have revised my initial review, was a little upset initially on the inconsistency of portions and not knowing the sizes but their support team was super nice and provided the info that 20ml (1/12 of a cup) is a portion. With this info I can get the proper amount of food for the cats and will be keeping the feeder. They offered a full refund because I was unhappy initially (and outside the return date on Amazon) but because of such a great support team and them making sure the customer is happy I appreciate it a ton and will continue using it

Easy to personalize and program a feeding schedule. Reliable timed schedule. You’re able to set different portion sizes for different times of day—so if you’d like a larger portion in the morning and a smaller portion at night you can do that. Also if my cat is hungrier then I can manually dispense a portion at that moment without ruining her scheduled feeding program. The only thing I don’t like is there’s no app to use so I can dispense it while I’m away. There’s also no indicator that the feeder holding tank supply is empty. But I check on it once in awhile to ensure there’s enough food inside. Dispenses Acana cat food without any issue. Love that there’s a battery section on the bottom as backup in case of power outage. The cord is plenty long for my cats space. The steel bowl is easy to remove and clean. Only time you hear any noise is during the dispense process, otherwise it’s silent. I love that I haven’t had any issues with ants, so far seems like the sealed tank is working perfectly. Super happy and relieved with this product. No more worrying about my cats feedings while I’m out for the day or at work.

I have two feral barn cats that I have tried to train to eat during the day. They are so feral, they only come at night to eat. With that, I am left with a raccoon problem in my barn. This feeder helps with that by allowing food to be dispersed in the late night/early morning after the raccoons have eaten the cats food. The other night, these relentless raccoons knocked this feeder off of the table and rolled it around the concrete barn floor trying to get at the food. The feeder never cracked or opened up and the programming remained intact. What a heavy duty feeder! I think the programming is very straight forward and easy enough to manage. It took a few tries to figure out the right amount for the meals and I must empty the dish every morning because if there is any food left in the dish when it dispenses, the dish can get overly-full and cause the device to error out. A little trial and error is all I needed! What an awesome feeder!

I love this feeding machine. Its great for traveling. I love that I can record a short message for every feeding. The only reason that I gave it 4/5 stars is that its not easy to set up. The buttons on the machine are not obvious. You really need to read the manual to understand how to program your feeding schedule. But once the program is set, its great.

I bought this for my cat who loves to wake me up to feed him. It took a couple of weeks, but now he doesn’t eat and wake me up right away. The first day, he desperately tried to break into the machine to get more food, he is very clever but was unsuccessful with multiple different attempts.

Finally, I can sleep in cuz my cat knows when she gets fed!! This little feeder is perfect! The portions, so far, are exactly as expected. P3 = 1/4 cup and thats what my cat gets 2 times daily until shes at her optimum weight. This saves me a lot of time. The setup was goofy, but I did get it figured out after watching an online video. The voice recording set up was very odd, but finally got that figured out too. I would highly recommend, however picking the proper vender if you dont want to wait 3 weeks to get it would be beneficial. If I had to order another one I would go direct to the MFG website.
