I purchased this device to save me from my cat waking me up at 4:30am every say. It has been such a life saver. The portion control has also helped with ensuring my cat doesn’t over eat, by allowing me to server 4 small meals throughout the day. It can do up to 6 meals. The only negative part of the device is that the voice recording feature is not the greatest quality, so I don’t use it. The food is kept fresh in the container and everything else is just perfect. Thank you for saving my mornings!

This automatic pet feeder has large, bright numbers on the display, is easy to program and dispenses just the right amount of food per serving. It comes with an instruction booklet, which the Kaikoe did not. The Kaikoe units display was not back lit. This one is back lit with large white easy to read numbers. Once you get the hang of the programming, it is easy. I highly recommend this unit. And Sir Walter loves it!

Our new cat was gobbling up all her food so fast and was wanting food constantly throughout the day. So instead of trying to feed her multiple times a day, this auto feeder so much easier. We set it for 1 -2 portions 5 times a day and she has stopped bugging us for food! To set up and figure out how much food you need per portion, I found it much much easier to weigh out how much is in a daily serving, then weigh how much is 1 or 2 portions, and do the math from there. Trying to calibrate based on volume if its 1 or 2 teaspoons it much too hard to get accurate. Weigh the food!

So Ive been using this product for a couple months now. And from setting it up and changing my settings a couple times this product works as expected. Going through the settings is a little difficult to learn and it did take reading the instructions once or twice for me to get the hang of it. Ive seen alot of reviews ripping this product apart for this but it really wasnt that bad. A app wouldve been nice but this is the cheapest product that does what I want and docent look weird and out of place in my home. The only thing I wish it did was allow me to change the portions and amounts fed by date. Work is later on the weekends and I would have to change it every Sunday and Friday to give my cat a little more food so she docent get too hungry waiting to get fed her wet food when I get home.

This one is ok for about 4 days, wish I had followed my first mind and went with the larger size.

This product is great, but my clever cats figured out how to unlock the controls and get the granary to feed them manually and or mess with the clock settings. Makes us a little nervous for the times we are away for a few days. Might try putting tape or something over the lock button and see if that helps. Petlibro should have an app interface and no controls on the device itself. Still would recommend a its a quality feeder at a good price.

This feeder is much less tedious to set up than other feeders Ive used. It has a durable braided cord, which will prevent my cat from chewing through it. I also love that you can set the speaker to only go off during certain mealtimes, so it wont wake me up when the cats have breakfast on days I sleep in.

My cat used to vomit, all the time. And would cry to be fed/wake me up. Now, this has helped to feed kitty 4 small portions a day which has helped his vomiting SO MUCH. Keeps him from eating all of his food at once and I have peace of mind that kitty is fed while I am away. There is a plug in, but ALSO a back up battery. This way if I am out of town I do not have fear that kitty will go unfed. I like that if you want to give an extra portion you can with a quick button. There is a lock feature, so kitty can NOT feed himself (even though he tries...). Since he knows that its the feeder machine - he does not cry at me at 6 am anymore to feed him which helps with food association. Cats need routine, and this is the PERFECT buy for busier pet owners with varying schedules.

I got this for my cats so I could leave them alone overnight. The portions are wonky. I dont understand why the machine does portions instead of ounces or something. Takes some math to figure out how many portions to set. I will say I went with this model instead of a different one because this one will do more than 3 portions on a setting. My cats chew on cables so I was happy there was a battery option. I just had them sitting on the floor with batteries and my cats were happy as a clam. I did see some reviews say that cats needed adjusting because otherwise the motion of the food will scare them: my cats had no issues. But they are on diets so maybe they were just so excited to get food that they didnt care if the food was moving into the dish.

I have 3 cats & I was tired of them waking me up all night to be fed. I ordered three of these when they were on sale & I cannot say enough good things about them. I have them set to feed 4 times a day, every 6 hours, 1 portion (about 1/8c). My cats stay fed and happy & I have my sleep back!
