very good. The initial configuration is very easy to carry out. It has so that those connected to the network can see the web history, in case they see malicious pages. you can control the download and upload speed of each device individually. it pairs perfectly with alexa. You can turn off the Wi-Fi by pressing a button located on the router. If you need a router and you have up to 8 computers that you want to give it the highest speed by connecting it by cable, this is the best option. such as computers, games and has a booster to give priority to whatever you configure. I HAD A PROBLEM AT THE BEGINNING, I CONTACTED AMAZON CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY TREATED ME WELL, THEY SENT ME TO ASUS CUSTOMER SERVICE TO SOLVE MY PROBLEMS, BECAUSE THEY KNOW MORE ABOUT THE SUBJECT. THE PROBLEM WAS SOLVED QUICKLY

My RT-AX88U died after 18-months. The unit shutdown and now wont power back on. Other issues experienced was 5ghz channel kept dropping out right out of the box.

I have a 600 Mbps symetric connection at home and the computer connected directly to the Ethernet point (without this router) it gives full speed (around 630 / 610 mbps, so the cable, point ot whatever is not the problem) but thru this RT-AX88U with WiFi 6 or ethernet port can have at most 400 down and 200 up Mbps.

I thought it was going to be a good upgrade and it turns out it was an amazing upgrade!

Love the powerful wi-fi signal (finally got rid of my neighbors interference) and the user interface. The management tools are great. I guess that is what you pay for. It also shrunk my Spectrum bill which gives me some additional satisfaction.

This is my second ASUS router and despite the cost, I love them! This one has a slightly lower range than my last, but makes up for it with speed and reliability. As with all of these type routers, the basic setup does a great job, but if you do your homework and dig into the manual settings, theres a LOT of GREAT features in this thing! I run my home and business off of it!

Its expensive, but its the best and most advanced router Ive ever used for home office (bar professional/commercial Cisco routers). Lots of settings not seen in other routers. It will definitely require networking knowledge or help if you are not familiar with this kind of hardware. However, default settings will probably work for a lot of people. Well worth the money and its nice having two separate frequency ranges to work with. I would definitely buy again!
