> 3 dayVery long time I was using the Tplink routers with no issues. I decided to upgrade to wifi6 and have read some reviews. Many users was recommended to go with Asus because of user interface. I chosen this model. First few days was everything good, but after wifi 5ghz always disconnected. I was unable to connect Google cast at all. I dont know why, maybe my specific router had issues. I have many Asus products like laptops and Im very happy with them, but router disappointed me. I returned that one and purchased a much cheaper Tplink ax5400 that works perfectly fine with no disconnection.

> 3 dayCurrent pic is wrong description of the router model. This is for Asus GT-AX600. Incredible router for range, speed, customization and much more. I am running Merlin software and it’s very stable. I know most manufacturers are jumping on the band wagon if making tri band and now quad band vining out but I am very happy with this machine. I don’t need any other router to do what I am throwing at this one. I have a 1 Gig plan and running about 17 devices and the router handles them all flawlessly. My signal extends in the back yard all the way back as well as three houses down. This is just incredible. Get yours now before Asus stops manufacturing dual band routers.

> 3 daySo I have used this Wireless Access-Point Router as a hub in my AI Mesh, I have two other Asus devices acting as nodes, and those devices are hard-wired into the hub, the wifi aspect of the network is not reliable. I bought this system to replace my Verizon Fios router, which always worked pretty well, the wifi portion never had any interrupts and only required one device, video was near perfect. Now with three devices I am having difficulty getting decent connectivity. On New Years Eve I had essentially bandwidth measured in kilobits. This unit required 2 resets that day alone. Having said that all the hard wired connected devices have seamless connectivity to video streaming services, (proving its not my provider), I think the concept Asus has put out creating a mesh is great but if it does not work well then I cannot substantiate the hi cost of this unit. I paid $300 for this device, another $300 for my RT-AC88U, and then over $100 for my RT-AC68U devices. To not have at least the same standard of reliability that the Verizon Router provided is really annoying.

27-10-2024Im a long time Asus user and I am replacing a four year old Asus AC router. It works great but over the years the number of devices in my household has increased significantly (almost 50 devices) and many of them are Chromecasts streaming Hulu Live TV. The older router would max out on memory and CPU and sometimes disrupt our activities. I decided to upgrade to a router with more performance and decided to future proof it a bit and spend the extra money to get an AX/WiFi-6 compatible router.

> 3 dayThis Asus wireless router is literally a beast. If you are not a network engineer nor understand product procurement process then you wont fully appreciate the build quality and the extensive engineering gone to develop this Asus product. First and foremost make sure you update the firmware right out of the box. This product is a game changer and the quality of signal and the processor aka CPU is super powerful. This product is worth every dollar theres nothing like it out there.

> 3 dayThe 5G consistently drops off line random times. Sometimes 4 hours, sometimes 8 hours. Reset modem and things are great for the time. Hard to not recommend it, is a minor inconvenience. Working with ASUS now for a solution. Some of the tech support members are hard to understand. Again when the 5G is online the speeds are amazing with the internet service I have. Received a second router and does not have any issues after 2 weeks. Great router now that it is working.
