Lixit Critter Space Pod, Perfect for Small Animals (Small)

My rats LOVE this, it is the only thing that one of them will sleep in and it is super durable. I put a little fleece square inside and they sleep for hours, honestly I would consider this a must-have for owning rats.The purple and blue piece snap apart for easy cleaning and it is a hard plastic so they rarely chew on it.

I have one hairless rat and 2 haired rats. They all equally love this critter pod. I am happy with it too as you can hang it like it shows or place it upside down on a shelf. My rats sleep, hide and play in it and I use it as a place to put them when I put them in the carrier so I can clean their cage. I would have never thought this would be such a big hit. As for size 3 female rats is a tight squeeze so if you have more than that you may need more than one.

They drag all their comfy stuff in it and hate when I have to clean it out. They LOVE lounging in these. Even if they broke I’d get more but they seem really sturdy and have held up for a couple months now.

my rat babies love it! this is there spot to sleep at night and i put a little blanket in for them. it’s kinda hard to fit in the bars so cleaning kinda sucks but it’s still awesome

Wow. I need like 4 more of these. My rats LOVE LOVE LOVE them. I was thinking they were going to break it when TEN of them stuffed themselves in there. Yes, 10. 2-3 month old babies plus an adult. I have mine hanging on the roof of their cage. They love it. Did I say they love it? So easy to clean, so inexpensive, and .... I will be buying more for my other cages. I will say that the tabs on the top (bottom) that hook onto the cage should take the abuse. Unfortunately multiple pounds in one has broken off one of the tabs. I just wrapped some wire around it and attached it to the top of the cage with no problems. I would think under NORMAL circumstances you wouldnt have an issue. Put 5 lbs of rats in it and you might run into this :)

Easy to install. Easy to remove for cleaning. Perfect size! My three rat babies love it!

Its very cute and sturdy, easy to take apart and put together. Big enough for one small rat, no more.

I have 4 male rats. Id say theyre medium in size. 2 of them fit with plenty of space, 3 fit comfortably (by rat standards) and 4 is a tight fit. They like to bring paper or fabric inside to make a nest too. It took them about 2 weeks to decide it was fun. Before then they ignored it/wouldnt stay inside when I put them in it. Now theres always someone sleeping in there. Im think about buying a second. The pod hangs very sturdily from the top of the cage and is easy to clean.

This space pod is great for my rats, they love getting on it and both my rats sometimes get inside together!
