Lixit Critter Space Pod, Perfect for Small Animals (Small)

My ratties love their space pod. We mostly hang it upside down, but it can sit either way. It fits our 3 rats nicely, but Ive heard as many as 6 rats will pile in at once. Its a cute and easy to clean bed for any small rodent or pet. I highly recommend it. It has endured many rats over a few years. Sometimes my rats will bring bedding into the space pod for warmth, or leave it empty for a clean, cool bed. They never seem to get sick of it.

LOVE THIS PRODUCT! I was wanting to get these for my rats forever and when I finally saw them on amazon I was so happy!! I have 2 female rats and they both LOVE it. I noticed only one problem. 1 of my 2 rats is obese and since I have the dome hooked on top of the cage, my rat decided to climb on the top of where the things hang and she got stuck between the cage and the dome because shes so big. And I had to help her scooch her wittle bum outta there. But the large fits both 2 female rats. And one is obese so more like fits 3 large rats. Lol

I see fb and youtube videos of peoples rats hanging out in these but my girls dont use it at all not even sometimes. The product is good quality and good in other ways just have no interest from my girls to use it. I have even tried hanging it and placing it on the cage floor.

My rats really like it, bought this to replace their small igloo which was too little for the both of them, and this is almost perfectly sized for two rats. Its easy to clean and take apart as well.

I’ve rescued rats for 4 years now, and every single one that I’ve had LOVES these things. It’s their favorite thing to sleep in most of the time, and I can mount it in different ways to give them more floor space. They’re made from sturdy plastic so I’ve never had one break before. Definitely get this for your small pocket pets!

ixit Critter Space Pod - this is unique in design and we have it hung upside down in our rat cage. The rats like to sleep in it. It is just the right size for two rats. Good design and rats seems to like it. This has been a good purchase.

Small: This is cute but way too small for my daughters fancy rats. It is made for tiny creatures like mice, gerbils, and other tiny animals. The hooks for hanging the pod are angle weirdly so you have to fudge it a bit to make it hang. Updated: 16 Nov 2020 - My first review was for the small one. You have to be sure you click on the right size. Large: This one works great for my daughters fancy rats. One of them really likes the small one for when he just wants alone time. They both love the large one when they want to cuddle together.

I ordered this some time ago. It got lost in transit, so the seller sent me another one. It fits quite nicely in with the larger cage I placed my rats back in. They had been in a previously smaller cage and the close quarters were making them bitchy with each other. So, I reinforced my big penthouse cage and moved them back in. The love the pod and thats where they sleep every night. I hung it from the top of the cage so they cant knock it around or displace it, and it givens them extra room at the bottom to romp. I highly recommend this product.

Its very cute and sturdy, easy to take apart and put together. Big enough for one small rat, no more.
