Lixit Critter Space Pod, Perfect for Small Animals (Small)

its a decent nest spot, and my rats do like hanging out in it. its pretty thin plastic -- a determined rodent could definitely chew through, but mine arent particularly interested in doing so. 4 stars because the hang clips dont actually work, so it has to sit on a surface. i like that its extremely easy to take apart and clean.

Best little space pod ever. My ratties absolutely love these things... they make little nests in them and try to hide.. some of them try to fit as many of their siblings in the dome as possible. Great purchase. Mine always hangs from the roof.

I love this product so much, Ive bought it numerous times for my 3 boys. They LOVE to hang out in their space pod & cuddle puddle on top of each other. I think the more closed off space is really comforting to them, they sleep in there all the time. If you have rats, this is a must! Theyll love you for it :)

One of the small nobs that attaches the space pod to the wire of the cage broke after two rats were inside the pod, and it fell to the bottom of the cage. Now it just lives on the bottom. My boys still love it!

My baby rat needed somewhere to hide. This was perfect. She loves this little hidey hole.

I ordered two separate pods. Instead of getting complete pods, I received four of the pieces that connect to the cage and none of the smaller pieces that fit into the larger pieces. It seems like a very good product if I had received all pieces. The pieces I did get seemed easy enough to install on the cage and seemed very easy to clean. I was really bummed I did not get the correct order.

Ok, so its not absolutely chew proof, but it might as well be. I get hammocks and such for my girls, but they have this thing with not only chewing holes in the cloth, but going after the cords that hold them to the cage. In a short time, that renders such items unusable. Enter the space pod-not a problem. They drag bedding into it and cuddle up. Its big enough inside for all 3(fancy rats) to cram and cuddle in like they enjoy doing. And its very easy to clean out. This is a must for any little critter.

Wow. I need like 4 more of these. My rats LOVE LOVE LOVE them. I was thinking they were going to break it when TEN of them stuffed themselves in there. Yes, 10. 2-3 month old babies plus an adult. I have mine hanging on the roof of their cage. They love it. Did I say they love it? So easy to clean, so inexpensive, and .... I will be buying more for my other cages. I will say that the tabs on the top (bottom) that hook onto the cage should take the abuse. Unfortunately multiple pounds in one has broken off one of the tabs. I just wrapped some wire around it and attached it to the top of the cage with no problems. I would think under NORMAL circumstances you wouldnt have an issue. Put 5 lbs of rats in it and you might run into this :)

My rats all six are piled up into this , granted there only 10 weeks old. They love it and I think it looks cute. Different look than the hammocks I like it ALOT and so do my rats.
