I would love to know what the front red (sometimes blue) LED means. The manual makes no mention of it, or even that it is present. The manual has a beautiful drawing of the back, but not the front.

Not good if you want to pair this with RT-AC5300 , as a Mesh, will not work!

Thought this would be an improvement over my 66U. Have had problems with it working every since I installed it. Will not mesh with my 66U even though within 15 feet. Keep having to reboot the router as it keeps freezing leases on WIFI devices. 2 months old being replaced by another router.

Product worked great for nine months then it didnt. 1 gig mbps in from cable, 70mbps coming out of wifi.

Ive bought two of these routers. The first stopped working within a week. The second stopped working within 9 months. The first time customer service was extremely helpful, the second has been a nightmare. I dont know why this company outsources everything, but it makes dealing with them impossible. I will never buy another ASUS product because of this, you dont get a third strike with me, two is enough of a headache.

My primary use for this is as a wireless bridge for my desktop gaming PC. It has a clear line of sight to my main router (ASUS RT-AC88U, which works great), and this thing drops out ALL. THE. TIME. Some days it spends more time disconnected than otherwise.

Improved my speed from the old one substantially. Have used it almost a year now. Was very easy to set up and get working. Have not had a single problem in that time.

Works great and the parental controls are just what I have been looking for. No more having to pay disney for parental controls or having useless ones that you have to code like with some other products. Easy to use, great range. Fantastic product.

After finally figuring out how to update the mode without creating a new network, I was able to configure the Blue Cave. Testing the signal strength I determined the signal from it in the rear of the house is just about as strong as the signal in front from the router. I was able to turn down the brightness of the mode using the ASUS Utility. I am satisfied with the Blue Cave.
