Be careful, I bought it in June 2019, in November 2019 it was malfunctioning

My primary use for this is as a wireless bridge for my desktop gaming PC. It has a clear line of sight to my main router (ASUS RT-AC88U, which works great), and this thing drops out ALL. THE. TIME. Some days it spends more time disconnected than otherwise.

Easy to set up and powerful enough for our condo. Gets all the nooks and crannies. Lots of wifi networks around us and interference doesnt seem to be an issue. Very easy to use interface via Safari.

Great product replaced my cable modem that was always dipping my signal when streaming video. Now my signal strength is doubled and I have no issues with the signal dropping.

I have 6 WiFi speakers, and it usually cant stream music to all of them simultaneously. It starts being choppy after 4 speakers.

I was looking forward to adding this to my existing aimesh but the set up was terrible. I could never get it to work and after 3 hours I just gave up. I had forgotten that set up of asus routers is at least 2 hours each. Im just going to get a different mesh system all together and abandon asus routers. Sad because if the set up wasnt so hard to do it would be perfect. I just don;t have the patience for 3 hours of troubleshooting. When the router are installed and do work their actually pretty good. Shame I never got that far.

Spent at least an hour on the phone with Asus tech support. Couldnt connect. Sent it back.

This was bought through Amazon.au. It didnt say the supply plug was US and not Australian. Pretty useless in Australia when you cant plug it in to the PowerPoint.

AIMESCH is s joke. The speeds are 10 times less through the extender that the mian Asus router. Tried two different devices to validate. Very dissappointed.
