> 3 dayPurchased this for my office because it’s far from my main router. Very difficult to set up and the connection always disconnects. I do not use this anymore after a very short time of owning

> 3 dayI spent an entire afternoon trying to get this unit to work. Both the Asus phone program and the laptop program said that this unit was connected to the internet, but I could get absolutely nothing to happen. I returned this unit and went to the local big box store and bought a competitors router that fired up and worked perfectly in 5 minutes.

31-10-2024When my old router (another brand) died I did some research and bought a refurbished Asus router (another model). It was great while it worked, but developed issues after a week. I returned it. However, I loved the user interface so much I decided to get another Asus router, just not a refurbished one. After more research I settled on the Blue Cave and bought one, new.

> 3 dayIts fast when it works. But about 10 times during the day it drops connection for ~6 seconds. Thats enough time to get booted from an online game, or sometimes a video call

> 3 dayLet’s face it, routers absolutely suck. I’ve had to wrestle with every one I’ve ever owned just to get a mediocre at best experience. The ASUS Blue Cave has completely restored my faith in routers. I was convinced that routers sucking was just a simple fact of life, but thankfully that’s not the case. I was drawn in by the design, but I stayed for the rock solid stability and amazing performance. I’ve been using it for half a year now. Guess how many issues I’ve encountered or how many times I’ve had to restart it to make it work…0!!! That’s right. I set it up in like 10 minutes half a year ago, and ever since, I’ve just had fast WiFi that always works…imagine that! A router doing its literal only job! It shouldn’t be so novel, but it is. Absolutely get this router. It’s a hidden gem than so many people are missing out on. Plus it’s a steal for the price it sits at these days. Looks great, and works ever better. Highly recommended!

> 3 dayI was in the search for a AiMesh Asus router and looked at the Q&A section someone stated yes this has AiMesh. I also quickly looked up the model # and saw AiMesh.. Well this model is NOT AiMesh - it is the AC1750 B2 which is a different model entirely.. So shame on me for not fully checking but just be aware if you are looking for a cheap Asus AiMesh router this is NOT THE ONE..

> 3 dayBought this because I have the AC3200 router that Im very happy with. Wi-Fi worked fine but I bought it for use with a wired device. Speed test showed high download speed but close to zero upload speed. Support could not help at all. Solved the issue with TP-Link RE600X, even though it has only one ethernet port works great for my wired device.

> 3 dayExcellent product matches well with my RT-AC5300, setup was a bit glitchy but once I got the firmware updated everything worked great. Put one in my garage and one at the other end of my house.
