> 3 dayI always sleep with a fan on but wanted one that would blow air across the bed. This fan checked a lot of boxes for me including low noise, fit in the window, blowing air right across the bed at the right level and the remote at 3 am is nice. The unit is a little pricey and if there is any one thing going against it, it is the price. Function-wise, I’m happy with the purchase. It is super easy to install. Just sit it in the window frame, lower the window onto the unit, plug it in and you’re done. They also provide some insulated spacers to give a secure fit. The noise level from the fan is not bad. I havent had any problem sleeping because of the noise but its not super quiet either. Overall, its a good fan if you are looking for a window fan but it is not worth the price in my opinion.

> 3 dayEasy for me to install. Wanted fan I could put in window and leave in place for season. I use it to bring in cool air at night and turn off and close house during heat of day, sometimes run portable AC in day if needed. This fan closes when it’s off to block most of outside air (will see how much heat is actually transferred when days get warmer but we had some nights in low 50s when I didn’t run fan and my room temperature stayed the same overnight so unwanted cooler air did not seem to be coming in). Also I have it installed in my bedroom, and like the privacy of not being able to see through the fan from the outside when it is off or operating. Ever since I installed the fan our weather has turned cool so haven’t needed to use it. I did turn it on a couple of nights for a few minutes on low speed just to try it, and it did lower the temperature of room and seemed to be circulating the air well.

> 3 dayPut this fan in our bedroom a week ago and LOVE IT. Whisper quiet on low and moves plenty of air. Thermostat seems to work pretty well. Fan was off on the cold mornings and kicked back on when the outside temps warmed up. Since we have a first floor bedroom we wanted a fan you couldnt see through and this one is perfect. Highly Recommend.

> 3 dayOn the positive side the fan is very quiet and it fits well in my window. It allows me to leave the window only about 4 inches open which means I can put stoppers on the window and keep anyone from breaking in. The negatives, however, outweigh the positives. Even on high, the fan barely moves any air. A light breeze outside and an open window will do more. The controls are also impossible to see during the day. I had to wait until nighttime to setup the fan direction and speed, and then just turn it on and off during the day. The remote control is no help either. It only intermittently works, the buttons are in the wrong places (the up is on the right and the down is on the left). And the temperature mode and fan direction mode buttons are reversed. The button with the thermometer (bottom) controls the fan direction, and the one with the odd direction symbol (top) controls the temperature setting. Update on the air flow: It turns out the slider that determines the airflow direction was stuck half way. I disassembled the unit and manually moved it all the way in one direction, and now the airflow is quite good.

Greater than one weekI tried both android&ios no joy. AE is not worth the extra money. The insulation foam blocks dont squish enough to fit in the groove of the window. But they can be trimmed with a sharp blade painfully bit by bit The fan itself is as quiet as a bathroom fan.

15-11-20241st off, a warning that this fan is designed for a window with a low lower lip (.25 to .50). I have double hung windows with a 1.25 inside lower lip and I ended up having to build a bracket to properly install the unit. That said, once installed, it works great. Its quiet, even on its highest setting. I installed the unit on window for a combined living room open walk thru to kitchen; 28 from window to end wall of kitchen. At its top setting, I can feel air movement at 20 from the window and was able to lower the temp in the two combined rooms several degrees F° in about 1.5 hrs. The remote is simple and easy to use, but is tiny and could be lost easy; put it somewhere you know you can find it. It was worth the cost and I do recommend it if you need something to vent a full room. Just check your window sills carefully before buying to avoid frustration.
