> 3 dayFan installation was easy, battery for remote was dead, deleted a star for that. Window sealing spacers are the best Ive ever used, phenomenal material. Set it and forget it display plus minimal window opening for installation, happy with purchase thus far.

> 3 daySo this fan is great nothing bad to say about the actual fan. The foam blocks however is a different story. As you can see from other reviews the foam blocks do not create a tight seal on the tops. In fact it probably would but there’s a half inch piece of foam on the fan that’s taller than all the blocks. So my main suggestion would be to remove the thick foam with a thinner piece.

> 3 dayFast delivery, however, it came in damaged packaging. I was concerned with the content but it looked ok. So, I ran a quick test to make sure and it seems no internal damage. Will install it and see if it fits the window using the form blocks provided. Will update the review sometime later.

> 3 dayI was afraid of getting this unit and having to return it based on other reviews, but my fears were unfounded. Installation was so smooth, quick and easy. The unit works silently, and uses so little power that I have it running 24 hours a day. Its been raining a lot in CA, but my unit fits behind the screen, and there is no evidence of any water coming in while still running all day and night. The only problem may be that the thermostat does not go below 60 degrees and it has been a lot colder that that, so I just leave it on manual so it runs all the time. I am very pleased and happy with this unit.

Greater than one weekWe are using the fan in an older storm type enclosure, that is in between the living room and a glassed in patio, so I knew I would have to get creative to install the fan. But after experiencing the comically bad blocks this comes with I fully understand what others here are griping about. Those blocks will only fit in a very specific type of window frame, and even then Im not convinced theyll do much better then a mediocre job at sealing. As seen in my photo, I actually removed the pane of glass and replaced it with plexiglass that I could cut around the fan, which worked out being awesome. It just baffles me how so much thought and consideration could go into designing this product and then them utterly fail on the fitting for various window sizes. But what can ya do, the fan is by far the best, quietest, most volume, air mover Ive seen. The only improvements I see room for is the blocks system of course, and beyond that I really wish it had WiFi support. Seems a real shame they left that feature off. But anyway, yes, Id recommend with one caveat, that you be prepared to figure out an alternative way of fitting it into your window sealed.

> 3 dayMy 7 month old is getting more sensitive to light. The layers of fabric over the windows keeps getting thicker. It’s summertime and the sun stays out much later than the winter so his 7pm bedtime was getting harder. It was hot in the room. I needed a fan that would let in as little light as possible. This fan is perfect for us. We don’t have to use an AC because we live in the mountains. It does let in a small amount of light but it’s very minimal. If your kiddo needs 100% blackout then a window fan will most likely not work for you. This is the closest to blackout in the market! Would absolutely buy again. Like so many other reviews I wish it came with a few more spacers to fill out gap between the unit and the window frame.

> 3 dayI ordered this fan to remove odors from my apt. It has a great exhaust and input. I really love the remote as well. The only thing I am not happy is the fan fitting the window. I had to rig other pieces to get a tight fit even with the included foam pieces. They did not stay in place. Everything is good now and it is a permanent fixture in my window.
