I have a gaming laptop and needed some extra space to run solid works off of. I installed and run solidworks off of this SSD and it works and runs very well. No issues with lag or transfer rates either.

I installed windows-to-go on it as an external bootcamp disk for Mac. I also installed video games on it. The temperature went around 100F while it was being used. I personally think it is pretty good, not too warm as I expected.

Data processing is really fast, worth every penny. love it!!

This is really a very fast external storage. Im using it as my goto device for random back-up and transfer and so far not its not getting that hot as others are experiencing. Maybe because its not continuously transferring.

Theres really no way to go wrong with this. Ideal.

I needed a storage device for backing up my MacBook Pro. I recently rendered it useless by deleting what I thought was an extra volume that turned out to be grouped to my main drive. When I went to boot up the computer I was unable to log in. The only solution was to reinstall the OS. Luckily, my important documents were stored in a cloud solution and were not lost. Everything else was gone.
