This is a great little external SSD. I was surprised at how small it is. But thats even better since it will fit in a shirt pocket very easily. I tested the drive by creating a backup image of my laptop boot SSD with Macrium Reflect. The backup took just over 6 minutes to create a 22GB image file on the new Samsung T7. Not too bad at all. Great Drive and I highly recommend it!!

I have a Razer Blade 15 and frankly it doesnt come with enough storage and thanks to the Samsung TT7. I was able to do school works without worrying about running out of storage. Would recommend to anyone that needs more storage for their laptops.

This ssd worked fine for 2 years, then one day, something was off. I managed to get my data off, it failed minutes later. I was in Italy. Could absolutely not get it fixed/replaced in Europe because it was purchased in the US. We are now 3 weeks into the process in the US and I still dont have a refund/new drive. Theyve promised a $90 credit for use in the Samsung store. Ok, considering I used 2 years out of a 3 year guarantee, but I havent seen it yet. Quite slow and complex return, evaluation, and refund process.

When you buy an external hard drive you expect plug and play type of functionality. This SSD is a real problem. I have an ACER desktop and it took me quite a while to get it connected. Finding the right driver which you have to download from Samsung was a problem. As pointed out by other reviewers the text message that comes with the SSD gives no directions. Then when I had downloaded the driver I found out that I had to use the USB c port on my PC to connect to the device but a second time that did not get recognized when I plugged it in and I needed to use the USB blue regular connection. The third time only the USB c port was recognized. These ports on my PC connect to other devices without any problems. And connecting to my Samsung Galaxy S10 cell phone? Never did figure out how to get that going. Other than that, it is sleek and small and would be ideal for carrying around. But if you want to connect it to a new device, you might find out that is a headache.

First: I will shine a bright „eindeutigen Licht“ to evince my respect and gratitude for the remarkable, hard-working, eminently respectful, and WORTHY OF TRUST delivery workers that bring important equipment to the doorstep. This is especially significant in my personal life because, due to my physical disability, I would not be able to venture about town searching for these essential components.
