> 3 daySSD continues to work fine, but was leaking white waxy material after 1 year of use. Some searches online revealed that the case has an encapsulated Phase Change Material (ePCM) and it likely leaked while under heavy load. There are YouTube videos and Reddit posts of similar experiences. Still works fine, though its concerning. A fast drive and I still generally recommend it; ordered a 2TB version, will focus more on cooling as I request warranty service.

Greater than one weekI have been using the older T5 external ssd for sentry mode use in my Tesla Model 3. I bought this for my father who has burnt through a small Ziploc baggie of thumb drives. Ive been extremely happy with the older T5(18 months) and 3 months into use in my fathers car he hasnt mentioned needing to buy another thumb drive or erase stuff off the old one

> 3 dayFoi uma experiência maravilhosa com o Samsung SSD T7 portátil, principalmente com a rapidez do envio de dados e a praticidade, devido ao tamanho! com certeza foi uma das minhas melhores compras, melhor custo/beneficio!

> 3 dayThe Samsung T7 is very fast. One of the fastest SSD I own. I usually use my SSDs as external storage and read the files directly from the disk since the read speeds are so good. My issue with the Samsung drive is that the enclosure gets physically hot. Hot enough that it is uncomfortable to hold for any length of time. This drive might be OK for holding files for backups, but I dont feel comfortable using it for anything that requires regular read/writes of data.

> 3 dayFirst external hard drive that I have bought for gaming. This SSD is lightning fast and it runs all the games (MW19, Ghosts of Tsushima & God of War) that I want to run as fast as Ive ever been able to play them before. It is a bit expensive but Im glad I paid up. 10/10 would recommend.

> 3 dayThis drive was used to back up my files before purposefully erasing my hard drive. The capacity was much more than adequate.

> 3 dayIf you are intending to use this Samsung T7 external SSD with an older PC that has USB 3.0 USB-A ports, be warned, the USB-C to USB-A cable that the T7 ships with is a USB 2.0 cable! It is NOT a USB 3.2 Gen2 cable.

> 3 dayI have the 2TB size and I also have a 1TB size. Both work flawlessly. Use them to transfer files (large files, videos) to be edited.
