> 3 dayDue to high popularity and recommendation, I purchased a Samsung 860 EVO 500GB 2.5 Inch SATA III. After I transferred all my data to the new SSD, I was suffering random crashes. The screen will just lock up and will do nothing, no BSOD, no logs, Nothing.

> 3 dayI have an old Dell i7 e6430 that I like but was getting a bit long in the tooth. I dont need a notebook computer but its nice to have. Instead of buying a new notebook, I bought the samsung ssd. It really woke the machine up, it boots very fast. For $85 I have a decent useable computer.

> 3 dayI like to tinker with technology but by no means am I an expert. This combination package worked flawlessly and got me to upgrade my ACER Aspire 5542 hard drive to a Samsung Solid State Drive.

> 3 dayI replaced my spinning 1TB drive with this SSD drive. My 8-year-old desktop computer starts Windows 10 in 26 seconds ready to log in and most programs launch and documents open in about second each (Word, Excel, Firefox).

> 3 dayReceived the product, downloaded and used the Samsung migration software and was up and running in less than an hour, not one glitch or error. I did a boot up comparison on the computer before and after installing the new drive. The boot up time went from 5 minutes (Literally) to less than 30 seconds. Loading programs - CorelDraw and other intensive CAD programs is lightening fast. Best upgrade you can do to a computer (having a great video card is great too).

Greater than one weekFormat via Windows NOT Samsung Magician. Save yourself the headaches. Just google how to format a new Ext HDD. Done in 60 Sec, just get the enclosure to make life a bit easier. No issues now.

> 3 dayPurchased the 1TB 860 to replace a 7 1/2-month-old 250GB 970 which had been running hot in my Alienware 17 R4. Was concerned about or with Windows 10 boot time - had gotten spoiled by the less than a 2-second boot with the 970 and cannot honestly notice a difference. Ran into a derp moment when trying to use the Samsung Migration software - had forgotten about Bitlocker being in place but once the drive was decrypted, migration took about 12 minutes and was up and running with the new drive. Played BFV, which loaded just as quickly - 17 seconds, as it had done when using the 970. Overall was very happy with the move or switch...
