> 3 dayThis is my 4th or 5th Samsung 2.5 SSD drive. They work great. Used initially to upgrade Lenovo W520 Windows 7 256GB SSD to a 500GB SSD and then upgrade to Windows 10. Nice to have a backup Windows 7 image.

> 3 dayIt seems that Samsung has had recent quality issues with some of these. I didnt check on line until after I got the defective one, and could have seen the issues. I returned the defective one with no hassles, a replacement was sent, and it installed and works flawlessly. Read on line comments about the level of defects before you purchase a larger capacilty drive.....it seems that those are still having issues.

> 3 dayI bought this for my 2014 Mac mini to speed things up. I have the base model with the standard 500gb hard drive. It was painstakingly slow most the time. Taking forever to open programs, theyd sit there bouncing for 10-15 seconds to open. Id open the web browser and type in a web address and it would take 10 seconds for it to autofill in the rest of the address. The DAW I use for recording would sometimes freeze.

Greater than one weekbought this to upgrade an older hp system. Software transfer flawless and computer from 3gpbs to 6 gpbs (motherboard capable) with ssd has awesome speed startup times and feels like a new machine. Great upgrade for a machine that seems to lag as its usually is the drive and read times dragging while u wait for it to load. Get one install u will not be disapointed

Greater than one weekMy last two SSD gave out on me within a year each. I needed something quickly and this fit the budget. The reviews were good and my friends raved about it so I went for it so far so good. I use my computer for regular stuff and nothing heavy that requires super fast writing and reading speeds but I dont like a slow computer and this is giving me exactly what I need. Worth every penny.
