Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

I purchased the Samsung 860 EVO 2TB 2.5 SATA III solid state drive just over a month ago for my PS4 Pro. Load times have greatly improved with this hard drive over my older 2TB traditional one. On my old hard drive I would notice lag on games with annoying stuttering at times when it couldnt keep up during intense loading at cut scenes or even during gameplay. Now many times during multi-player games I will be the first to load in. Also when booting the PS4 Pro on it turns on almost as fast as booting on from rest mode.

Extremely fast. Comes with very good software for checking your drive. I dont know why I waited so long to upgrade.

Screw holes lined up with my drive bay, was a lot lighter and thinner then I expected. Feels like if I stepped on it that it would get destroyed, but it is safe in my computer so a non issue.

Easy to install and boosted the performance of my Vaio significantly.

Its as if I have two new computers now after using two of these to upgrade my laptop- cloning software is really good- as is magician- very happy with results so far.

Using Samsungs migration software I was able to transfer automatically (clone) my old SSD to this new one in about a hour using usb 3.0 connection (460 GB). From there its just disconnect the old main drive, plug this one up in its place, and youre good to go. If youre looking to replace a old drive with a operating system on it get a Samsung, you can transfer in be done with a full hdd/ssd swap in <2 hours depending on the data on the old drive.

The Samsung software for moving your old hard disk drive to the SSD is very nice. Along with the magician(SSD setup/calibration/optimation/drive condidion/speed testing software) is vary nice as well. With the software and quality feel of the drive not to mention the fairly reliable samsung brand, I hope it works for a long time. Fingers crossed.

The speed difference is uncanny from the original HDD. Works great!
