Only suggestion is that the updated status of delivery is terrible. Halt in jfk for many days, today it told out for delivery. Also delivery is not correctly shown at BKK, not my home destination. Hope this can be improved.

It took me only a few minutes to install this drive into my desk top computer. Used in a desk top with a 3.5 drive, you will need a bracket. The data migration software made cloning my old drive very quick and easy. This drive has no moving parts so its completely silent. Runs cool and blazing fast. Windows 7 boots up in about 5 seconds and start up programs load instantly. There is no software disk with this drive. You can easily download the migration software and the Samsung Magician software from the Samsung website. The installation and use manuals are not very helpful but they give bulleted pointers that are good to know. Read the manuals before you install the software. Only time will tell if this drive can compete against 60 years of hard drive technology but so far, its a clear winner.

Once installed, it works well as a replacement for my boot drive. It doubled the size of my former boot drive.

If you are gaming on a HDD in 2020 you are crippling your hardware, if there is an option to upgrade DO IT! Games load 2x-1/3 as fast as they did before. Game worlds load and transition more smoothly than they did before. It makes the PS4 Pro feel like the PRO is worthy of being in the name.

I replaced my HDD with the 1TB SSD and the difference has been substantial. My computer starts in a matter of seconds, as opposed to several minutes with the old drive. Games load faster and it doesnt make any noise while running. I was able to clone my old hard drive using Samsungs software and it worked perfectly. Be sure to buy a USB to SATA cable if you are cloning, and plan for it to take several hours. The only thing I would do differently is buy a 2TB drive for the extra space.
