> 3 dayWent from a 1 minute start up to PIN screen to 14 seconds in Win 10 Pro. 5 year warranty and its own monitor software. Ive converted 3 different laptops to SSDs...certainly makes a difference and cost is now more reasonable.

Greater than one weekSamsung Data Migration made the swap from a small 850 Evo to this SSD easy. The Samsung Magician software was also effective at enabling the rapid mode without issue.

> 3 dayI dont have a lot of experience working with computers, but installing this hard drive was fairly easy to do with the help of a couple of YouTube videos. This has been the single best purchase I made in 2020. My 6 year old HP15 feels like a new computer now. I dont game or do anything serious on my laptop, but my it feels insanely fast for everyday tasks now. <10 second boot-ups, programs open up within a second or two, and file transfers are much faster.

31-10-2024I put this in an older laptop. It has an I7 processor and 16 gab of ram. The hard drive as a hybrid spindle drive with 8gb. Buffer. It was thrashing pretty hard after boot and decided the drive was near death. I was amazed how much faster this drive made my older laptop. I consider this well worth the money. I decided to rebuild the system with a clean install so I didn’t use the clone software.

Greater than one weekMy second purchase of this type of drive. 2.5in 500GB SSD. It’s reliable and fast! Easy to install. And I highly recommend installing the Samsung software on your machine to optimize the drive’s life. And update firmware if ever it’s needed.

> 3 dayThis drive is rated at 300 TBW, I have pushed it to 900TBW + in 1 year. Going to upgrade to pro series, but this drive is still in good condition.

> 3 dayBought this SSD to replace the OS HDD in a Workstation running Windows 10. Connected the SSD to Workstation using a USB 2.0 to SATA adapter cable but SSD failed to show up in Disk Management so could not initialize it. Problem probably was with my adapter cable since I was able to proceed as expected after opening up the Workstation and fitted the SSD into a spare drive bay. Initialized SSD, cloned HDD to SSD using AOMEI Backupper (enabled SSD Alignment), swapped out HDD with SSD, moved SSD to top of BIOS boot order and Workstation booted up perfectly. Used Samsung Magician to enable Rapid Status which boosts SSDs read and write performance. Measured SSD improvement compared to old HDD using winsat.

> 3 dayGot this SSD to replace the HDD that came with my wifes Dell Inspiron 15-5568. It was taking upwards of 7-10 minutes to go from shutdown to Windows along with an addition 5-10 minutes of waiting around while the rest of the startup process completed. Her computer would consistently spike and sit as 100% disk usage for large amounts of time...sometimes spiking after just moving the mouse.

> 3 dayI bought this 1T solid state drive to install in my mid 2012 MacBook Pro. Installation was super easy. I just followed a YouTube video. And now my laptop works extremely fast! I hear I went over board on the storage but I have no complaints. It’s like I have a brand new Mac.
