    I installed this 500 GB model to my HP P7 -1110 desk top computer that has a second generation Core i3 processor and 6 GB of RAM at 1333 MHz. After the upgrade, my desktop runs super fast. With Optimization option activated, Samsung Magician speed test shows that the read speed is over 3000 Mbps and write speed is over 5000 Mbps.

    I purchased a 500GB Samsung EVO last July. My 7-year-old Acer V3-771G laptop with 16GB of RAM, an i7 CPU and a secondary NVidia GT 650M GPU with Linux Kubuntu took about 2 1/2 minutes to boot to a working desktop with the old 5,000 RPM WD HD. I installed the EVO and used BTRFS as the filesystem. I now get a working desktop in 18 seconds. Most applications snap open. Its like I bought a brand new ultrafast gaming laptop! Virtual distros installed via KVM snap to life and run almost as fast as Kubuntu.

    Product came on time and works perfectly one day so far. I cloned the original drive at half the size to this one with Acronis software and it opened Windows 10 as required.

    Went from a 1TB HDD boot drive and converted to this 500GB SSD as my boot drive, one of the best decisions I have ever made for my PC. I had to get additional cables as that HDD was the only drive in my PC.

    There is a way to tell the Raspberry PI 3 B+ not sure of any others to boot from a USB drive.

    Its a model behind the current model but it doesnt show. I bought this to replace the 1gb HDD that came in my new laptop. I wanted super fast storage that wouldnt break if I dropped my laptop, thats how my last drive died. Drive is nice and fast and Samsung Magician software helps manage the drive.

    Ive only had the drive installed for about a month, so cant really comment on its durability, but caught this on sale while I was looking to upgrade an older Lenovo Yoga 14 laptop from a HDD to SSD.
