Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

This SSD has made my laptop quicker than new. My laptop is about 6 years old (Samsung ATIV Book 8), and it was getting very slow with its HDD. At its worst, it would take 20 - 30 minutes to go from shutdown to normal responsiveness, and being able to reasonably do anything online.

Installed this in my 2012 MacBook Pro and it made a huge difference! I benched it with the Blackmagic tool and it does bench at about 500/MB/s. Great drive

I installed the SSD in my Dell Inspiron 15 5000. It really sped up my computer along with the 16gb RAM I installed. Boots up extremely fast and now, I have all the extra space I need for storage.

installed last week , cant so for sure regarding the durability though . regarding performance, my previous boot times (Windows Server 2012 R2) on the stock hdd were between 9.5 - 11 minutes . after installing this , the system is ready for anything and everything in under 2 minutes , and that is ABSOLUTELY ASTONISHING

I really love this ssd. It was easy to use and migrate my operating system and my files. You must go to the Samsung site to download the Migration file. Downloads are super fast. Scanning is fast, less than one hour. Scanning used to take 1 1/5 to just over 2 hours. Booting up takes 30 seconds, and shutting down takes 20 seconds.

Great product. Easy to install. Noticeably speeds up boot times and file transfer speeds. The samsung magic drive app helped set this up to take over as my primary, bootable drive. Very easy process.

This is the first solid state drive I have purchased and its the best upgrade Ive made to my 2015 Dell Inspiron 14 laptop. The hard disk drive I had prior to this installation worked fine but I knew that everything could be much faster with the Samsung 860 Evo. After cloning my previous hard drive (this took about 4 hours for 320GB at 20-30 MB/s) the installation took about 20-25 minutes. Once installed, my laptop booted up in 5 seconds compared to the 30 seconds it took prior to installing an SSD.

My computer was purchased with a hard drive many years ago. With time it slowed down. After installing this SSD into my laptop, its running quicker than it did when I got it, and that was 7 years ago! 10/10 recommend.
