I had a Lenovo W530. I loved the machine. But about a month ago, I started hearing a rattle from the disk drive. Ive had many computers in the past. And, when you hear a rattle, you have about one to two months before your computer is toast. So, I researched as best I could. I was afraid that replacing it would be full of missteps and do overs. I decided on the Samsung 860 EVO 500GB.

Great SSD! Super fast and has the space I was looking for. Was thinking between 500GB and 1TB but 500 is sufficient. I am very happy with this ssd.

Using it for a Win10 boot with older drive booting Win7

I use this mainly for my the games i play but not all the time very fast and reliable. Can never go wrong with a Samsung SSD or NVME.
