Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

Im not sure why I waited so long to go SSD on my Windows 10 Dell PC. My computer went from frequently, unbearably slow, to no wait ever for anything - instantly. Cloning my old hard drive was a breeze, and I was off to the races. In use for months now, Ive had no problems at all.

I installed the Samsung EVO 860 2TB on my lenovo ideapad 330S, replacing the 2TB HDD original installed. Now I divided the SSD in two partitions, one with Windows 10 the other with Ubuntu 18.04. The SSD seems a little bit expensive, but it pays off with excellent performance. Works flawless.

Bought it to replace the hard drive in my HP Pavilion laptop that failed after only 2-3 years. So far, so good. Boot time greatly improved, so much that I actually turn my computer off now when Im not using it. Easy to install after watching a YouTube video, however I do have a little bit of IT background.

This drive is unbelievable!! My old one was about 6 years and would take about 4 minutes to turn on. I would open folders with pictures and spend 10 seconds for a file to open and close. Now my laptop turns in less than 30 seconds and I can multi task and fly through folders... I highly recommend this Samsung SSD. I bought a second one for my wifes computer and the same results. Smooth, quick and painless to install and now my old one is my full backup .... Rick

Amazing SSD and. Got it installed in 15 mins on HP pavilion 15 inch laptop

This is my first SSD and I cannot believe how fast my laptop has become. I had already upgraded the cpu, and doubled the memory only to be very underwhelmed by the minimal improvement. Installing this has truly made my machine zip! it now boots up in twenty seconds, shuts down in less than five seconds, and launches apps as if they were already running. There are less expensive brands available, but I wanted to go with a proven leader and I recommend this unit highly.

Installed four of these in a raid 10 array without any issues. Very fast and reliable.

Bought Samsung 860 EVO 1TB. Freakishly fast. Its sooo fast I have easily filled half of it. Go with the 1TB. I think youll be happier in the end because youll enjoy its storage speeds and you need to partition about 10% of its space to give it longevity anyway. It has made the heavy software I use for work so much easier to use and IT DOES support Rapid Mode. Beautiful.
