Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

Bought these for my PS4 Pro, HP ProBook 4540s, and AMD Phenom II desktop (the last two running Fedora Linux). The PS4 Pros performance is now silky smooth compared to the standard hard drive and the laptop and desktop got a majorly new lease on life in performance. Bootup is less than 10 seconds on the laptop and desktop compared to what it was before. Definitely recommend this SSD.

This seems like a good choice for when you only have one M2 slot but want lots of EXTRA storage.

I put this into a 6 year old Toshiba laptop that was painfully slow. The speed improvement was VERY noticable, right away.

Cool SSD. As fast as its advertised. Boots un no time. Monster hunter world takes mere seconds to load. Big big cities in Cities: Skylines take much less time to load. Just awesome.

I put this in an older laptop to replace the old hard drive. Made the laptop much quicker. I always buy the Samsung SSDs because their software for disk cloning is so easy to use (but it only works on Samsung disks).

My old hard drive died and I was having issues with my computer. Once I installed my computer was twice as fast. I was in shock, because I’ve never had it this fast before. Great upgrade if you have a HDD.

I wish Apple would come up with a new line of thicker laptops with simple bays to allow users to again upgrade memory, storage and batteries. They could also put in a reliable keyboard if they weren’t so stuck on thinness.

Now Im the first one loaded in Call of Duty lobbies. From what I read SSD doesnt get better FPS then HDD (and that appears to be true from my experience,) but the load times and rendering happens much quicker. If youre impatient or run task heavy programs this SSD is a great choice.
