Greater than one weekA bit overpriced, like most Motion Pro tools, but you get a quality product. Its well built and did the job pretty well. Broke my Africa Twins OEM chain effortlessly and pressed/riveted the new one without any issues.

> 3 daySeems like a extremely high quality tool- and comes in great packaging. Have not used it yet- so cant comment on its effectiveness- but all initial impressions are positive.

> 3 dayDoes what it’s supposed to - do yourself a favor and read the directions to figure out which procedure to use for your rivet type

Greater than one weekWhen I opened the package, all of the threaded bolts were rusted. The bolt that houses the pin was so rusted, the spring would not fall out on its own but had to be pried out. It took about 25 minutes to clean all the threading and re-lubricate. It’s very important that everything is clean and oiled to prevent damage during high torque. The product did come pre-lubed, but it apparently wasn’t affective in preventing rust. Other than that, the tool has been terrific. I’ve broken an OEM 530 chain and the pinhead shows no sign of deformation. It took some convincing, though. Finding the right angle and position can be tricky to break stubborn chains.

30-10-2024Removed my old 520 chain and riveted the new DID ERV7 520 chain with the PBR tool. I would recommend greasing the threads before use, especially when riveting.

> 3 dayQuality tool that gets the job done, used my buddys harbor freight model and it was garbage. The difference is night and day, great investment if you have a motorcycle and do your own maintenance.

> 3 dayeasy to use, just follow the instuctions, I ground off the end of the rivet on chain before using the breaker, pushed the pin out easily. A little trickier riveting master link on, but quite do able for a noob like me.
