Meta Portal TV - Big Screen Smart Video Calling for Group Calls on Your TV

Gone are those days to stare into the small phone screen. Now I have the luxury of talking to my family members through my TV. I can see them big in my TV. It excites me as much as I meet them in person. For an immigrant, life away from family is so tough. This Portal TV brought my family members to my living room. I watched a movie while growing up - Adithya 365 (Telugu). When that movie was showing family members talking in TV, I was laughing. Now it is reality and has a lot of meaning. It is a sensible and real deal. Thanks to this technology.

I like the look of this portal and the flat camera, but the sound quality is not nearly as good as the older model I had, and I hate the stand that you have to screw in. Wish I would have just replaced my broken portal with the same model I had before.

Absolutely fantastic product. Rivals high end conferencing technology. Have had hours of fun conferencing with my grandchildren overseas especially when travel is disallowed because of COVID

Im not impressed with the video quality, since its supposed to be used mainly for video calls, they should have made the video quality a little better. Touchscreen buttons arent very responsive sometimes you have to click on something twice. Sometimes it wont even ring when you call it.

I received portal TV as a gift. Me and my cousin planned to watch a movie together, not realizing that it’s limited to only Facebook videos – which are very limited. They advertise Netflix, and Amazon prime, but their is no difference than having it on a smart TV or a fire stick. We thought we can watch netflix movies together since we live so far away. Personally I do nothing it’s worth the money. It’s no different than zoom and all the other video apps which are free. Or even screen mirror my phone to my tv. Great idea but needs much improvement for the cost.

My Kids love it. Have a step child that lives in another state and they call each other every night.
