> 3 dayIts a decent humidifier with warm and cold mist options. Does a good job of increasing the humidity level in a short time. Only complaint is that humidity level shown on the display might not be relevant. It senses its immediate surroundings and the actual humidity level 2 ft away from the unit might be half of whats shown on the display.

> 3 dayI wish it had a refill cap on the top so I dont need to remove the whole tank to refill the tank! This is especially important if kids need to refill the tank, there are some risk of slipping the tank from kids hand when filled with water and heavy!

> 3 dayThis is a great company to work with. We have two of their humidifiers and one started leaking. It was after the return time on Amazon and so I reached out to the company. Without hesitation, they sent me a new unit which is working great as well. Definitely will buy my next humidifier from this company.

> 3 dayThis is the third humidifier Ive tried to humidify our bedroom. I suppose our bedroom would be considered large-ish? Medium-large, at any rate. Every other humidifier has utterly failed in getting our humidity up in there. Our house is consistently in the teens for percent humidity in the living room (which is right outside our bedroom) because of the wood stove. Since we got this humidifier, Ive been running it starting at 6 or 7 PM and running all night long until I get up in the morning around 7:30. And only since we got this humidifier have I been not waking up dry as a bone and unable to sleep because my throat, mouth, and nasal passageways are dried up. I dont even sleep with my mouth open and this is how its been feeling this winter! This humidifier works like a charm! I love how I can completely turn off the light. ANY bit of light in our bedroom at night bothers me. This machine is also completely quiet from what I can tell, but I sleep with a noise machine for a consistent fan noise anyway. I dont really go by the humidity % on the machine because Im skeptical about how accurate it is. I mean, it probably is 46% humidity in the area directly around the machine, but that doesnt do much for me 7 or 8 steps away by the bed, where I know its not. So I just let the machine run on high all night and I havent had a problem of over humidifying, so theres really no need to set the machine to turn off at a certain humidity or time. I really wish I could just fill it from the top. Im not really sure why they couldnt have made a screw cap on top in the back for that. Its kind of a pain to take off the nozzle piece where the steam comes out, then lift up the whole basin with the handle and flip it over to fill it, then handle the heavy basin to put it back correctly without clumsily knocking it or something. I havent needed to clean the unit yet, but reading the instructions kind of make that sound like a pain, too. Filling it and cleaning it are probably the only cons Ive found so far. I bought a ZeroWater filtering pitcher to fill this machine with to hopefully prevent mineral buildup. I havent had any white dust accumulate on anything so I assume its working so far. Im also using the pitcher for my houseplants. The only con for that thing is the fact that it takes forever to filter all the water needed to fill the humidifier each night. But thats not a con for the humidifier, obviously.

> 3 dayPros- awesome unit, mostly quiet, nice capacity. Cons- not suitable for elderly, as you got to toss a full 6l plastic vat like a pizza to reinstall after filling. Also, where the cutout is for the steam pointer, and handle, there are two 90 degree angles of plastic which could have been rounded for safer operation when handling while filling.. Sides that, it is keeking ass and taking names in my apt, love it. PLants love it.

> 3 dayThis humidifier is well made and generally convenient to operate. The remote control works well; and the options for mist control, percent humidity, and operational time selection are user-friendly and clearly presented via the icons and the user manual. The system is also whisper quiet and delivers a fine mist. The only thing I dont like is that it requires distilled water to operate correctly (i.e., an unnecessary expense) and you cannot pour the water into the system from the top of the unit. Instead, you have to remove the tank, invert it, unscrew the cap, and then pour the water in. This is a little clumsy, especially since you may be doing it every day or so. Other than that, it seems to be a very good unit.

> 3 dayThough I do not feel aroma oils, all the product design, UX/UI design, app connectivity, and functionality are awesome!!!! I’ve struggled with washing humidifiers and refilling waters in them, but I like this top-fill and easy to maintenance humidifier!!!

> 3 dayIn-built hygrometer is woeful. I have two different hygrometers, one is +/- 5% accuracy and the other is +/- 1% accuracy, both of which are usually within 2-3% reading of each other. The Levoit’s in-built hygrometer reading is woefully inaccurate: when the unit is on, it fluctuates wildly in a +/- 10% band around the reading of my two hygrometers; when off, it is always a solid 10% or more below. Worse, the (incorrect) reading can go from 40% to 20% the moment you turn off the unit—doesn’t make sense at all. Because of this inaccuracy, while the auto function is nice in theory, it is actually useless in practice because the unit automatically turns off and on based on faulty readings and not based on the actual humidity. Also, the minimum target humidity is 40%, which can hardly be reached on a dry winter day, so “auto” is effectively “always on”. Cool mist is ineffective. I have two hygrometers to check it. Warm mist is ok. Maximum warm mist is the setting I’ve been using. I can see the humidity budge by maybe about 3-4% in my 300 sq ft space, better than nothing. However, for the amount of logistics around getting distilled water for the unit, it’s not effective enough for me to justify continuing to use this unit.

Greater than one weekI purchased the product roughly 39 days ago. Since purchase, Ive run it nearly every day and exclusively use distilled water. The other day when refilling I noticed that there seemed to be a large build-up of something black and generally not something youd want to breathe in at the point where the reservoir feeds into the base, next to the black ring (which I assume is the plate that turns water into vapor). While this is a general hassle you have to deal with on just about all humidifiers, the design of the base of this humidifier makes it impossible to thoroughly clean every nook and crevice as there are sharp angles and cut ins for other plastic pieces to fit. This means youd need to basically use a cleaning solution of some sort that could get into those crevices and kill any bacteria holding out there but doing so will potentially damage the internals of the device, not to mention that those cleaning solutions themselves if not well removed after cleaning could do harm. My advice to the manufacturer: 1) Every surface that contains water within the base of the humidifier should be easy to clean and disinfect without the use of a Crevice brush, Rather than hard corners where 2 plastic pieces connect the corners should be rounded so that no bacteria/mold or other uninvited guests can get underneath them. Ideally, a paper towel, some disinfectant, and a finger should all thats needed to get a humidifier back up and running again and make the buyer feel confident that they arent inhaling lungs full of either disinfectants or whatever that black stuff was. 2) Throw the refill hole on the top of the reservoir... why the bottom? On some devices it makes sense..but for this one? I dont see any logical reason for it. 3) The part of the reservoir which connects to the base should be a thing that can be easily removed, disinfected and placed back on the reservoir. #4) How about some google home/Alexa integration? I intend to keep this humidifier for now as options for quality humidifiers that can humidify large spaces are limited. That said for my bedroom at least Ill be planning on upgrading to a Dyson humidifier or something else with UV light that can kill bacteria in the base.

> 3 dayThis humidifier exceeded my expectations. It’s such a nice product and I’m so glad I splurged and bought it. My sleep quality has improved drastically and I LOVE being able to control it from the app. At first I was going to buy one with a remote but so glad I decided to try this model with connected app. I’ll admit that for the claims this device made, plus the higher price point, I was skeptical. After unboxing and getting it going, I was feeling good. After the first night of sleep, second night, third, I really started to notice a difference in the quality of my sleep, my sinuses and my snoring. I live in the Midwest- the harsh and dry winter air is killer. This humidifier has made my home easy to breathe in! Finally I found a humidifier that lives up to the claims made! I do notice some slight leaking once in a while but I’ll be honest, the leaking isn’t bad at all and if that’s my only problem then I don’t mind. For the perks it provides, I’ll gladly wipe up a bit of water once in a while. Just make sure to keep it clean and away from kids/pets if using the hot mist function! The cool mist works great for us but love the option of hot OR cool! or BOTH at the same time!
