Greater than one weekI bought a humidifier with a built in humidistat that never worked right and wouldnt properly humidify a room where I keep my guitars. Itd constantly shut off before getting close to the target humidity levels I wanted. Once I realized a device like this Inkbird humidity controller existed, I decided to try it. It took a few minutes to bypass the humidstat controller on the humidifier with a simple piece of wire. Now the Inkbird controls power to the humidifier and does a great job. I have a couple of hygrometers around the room and the Inkbirds onboard humidistat seems pretty accurate. Come summer when I need to break out the de-humidifer, this controller will be great since it has dual power options - one that providers power to something when humidity is too low and one to provide power when humidity is too high. Genius.

> 3 dayI use this in my greenhouse. The placement is going to be moved for the second one I buy. The first one locked up the sprayer valve when it got wet.

> 3 dayI bought this and a humidifier to upgrade my oyster mushroom growing setup. Compared to spritzing with a spray bottle throughout the day, this is luxury. I calibrated the sensor, along with a seperate hygrometer that records data logs, and everything seems to maintain humidity accurately. I kind of wish the alarm was louder. My setup is in the basement, so the alarm is probably fine for other situations. Other than the alarm volume, I have nothing but praise for the device. It does what I need, its not expensive, simple setup... I would definitely buy another Inkbird product.

> 3 dayMy dehumidifier stopped reading the proper humidity and would never turn off. Instead of getting a new dehuey I got one of these and set it up to the range I wanted, and it works even better than before and Im now saving a little on my electric bill as its no longer running 24/7. Im not the smartest of men so I didnt fully understand all the settings but after toying around with it, I cant imagine not having it. Even if I have to get a new dehumidifier someday Ill probably still connect it to this thing.

> 3 dayI bought the humidifier controller for my grow tent where I am growing gourmet mushrooms. It has an outlet (Work1) for the humidifier and one (Work2) for either an exhaust fan or a dehumidifier. However, when the humidity reached the cut off point, the fan wouldnt kick in to lower the humidity, which just kept climbing until it reached the limit (99%) and then the alarm went off. I contacted Inkbird and when I explained the problem—without hesitation—they said they would sent me a new one, which I got today. Good customer service is almost obsolete these days, so I really appreciate Inkbird! Thanks. I hope this one works ok.

> 3 dayI use this during the winter months to keep the bedroom at a steady humidity to not be overly dry or humid. I have not used the “dehumidify” plug but that’s a good option to have. I had an issue with the unit and the company support was extremely helpful and responsive. I bought more of these for each room humidifier. The accuracy matches other smart sensors and turn on when needed. I like that a range can be set so the unit doesn’t constantly cycle.

> 3 dayThis works great. I don’t know why it ask temp control and a review but it does what it’s supposed to do. That’s all we ask. Thank you to the designers of this product. It does what it is designed to do.

> 3 dayBought this to keep my plant cabinet a stable humidity. However, and this may be common sense to some but not to me lol, make sure your humidifier/dehumidifier does not need to be manually turned on (like a button pushed) because it’ll turn off but it won’t turn back on when it needs to. Knob humidifiers should work with it a-ok

> 3 dayIf you are dealing with a situation with high humidity, this unit will without fail alarm and turn off your dehumidifier / fan, making it mostly useless. You cannot set the unit to not alarm, so you will have to listen to it blearing, knowing that you now have to manually have to get power to your dehumidifier / fan. You can set the calibration down by a max of -10%, and then set your dehumidify set point down a corresponding -10%, but amazingly it will STILL alarm at high humidity and shut off your dehumidifier / fan. Amazingly disappointing.

> 3 dayIworked well for about 3 months in an 80% humidity enviroment. It then began giving eratic measurements or sticking on a false temp untill i jiggled probe wire. Which was not ideal when counting on humidity kicking back on when away. It barely worked when i stored it away 5 months. I just gotit back out to use it and it gave me the error screen after 1 day. Kind of dissapointed. I was thinking if i treated it well it would do job for long time with maybe needing to replace sensor once a year. I guess the relay stopss working after repeated on offs. I hope im still under warranty period but im unsure of length .
