> 3 dayI have an air quality sensor board and two weather stations in addition to this humidistat. Even with all of them together in the same place, they disagree with each other by as much as 25%. Im not sure why the error is so high, but Im probably going to go the manual route that we used to use in earth science class to figure out who is telling the truth. In the short term, I put a 12% correction on it to help even out the readings. Beyond that, this does seem to work very well. I will update the review once I figure out the accuracy issue.

> 3 dayBought this to keep my plant cabinet a stable humidity. However, and this may be common sense to some but not to me lol, make sure your humidifier/dehumidifier does not need to be manually turned on (like a button pushed) because it’ll turn off but it won’t turn back on when it needs to. Knob humidifiers should work with it a-ok

> 3 daySeems to either be too humid or not registering the low humidity either way Im questioning its ability to do what I bought it for

10-11-2024I bought this for some plants I am growing in a small greenhouse tent. I need very high humidity 95% or so. I connected this to two humidifiers (targeting different sections of my greenhouse tent). It works awesomely

> 3 dayI have bought several IHC-200 controllers for use in a greenhouse. They work well, except one had a problem with the display. I contacted customer service, got a response within 24 hours asking for a video to demonstrate the problem. I sent the video and the next day they said they would ship a replacement. The true test of a company is how they respond when something goes wrong, and Im satisfied with their response in my case.

10-11-2024Our initial goal in purchasing this unit was to maintain our terrariums high humidity levels, and to run a mister/fogger/water circulator when humidity dropped below 80%. Instead, this unit has spent most of the year unplugged and useless. This is due to the units inability to handle high humidity environments. If the terrarium reaches 100% relative humidity, the unit sounds an alarm. Note, this will tend to occur naturally in any high humidity terrarium when the air cools in the evening. Cooling will reduce the dew point until relative humidity hits 100% and condensation forms on the interior glass. If you have ever seen condensation on your terrarium glass, then you too, have experienced 100% humidity in part of your enclosure. Per the support response, there is no way to disable the alarm. The unit allows you to set a range up to 99% humidity, but if it crosses that threshold, *blang-blang-blang* The alarm sounds. (And personally, I dislike being awoken at 3am in the morning by a needless alarm.) When asked for the reasoning, it was explained that the unit does not handle 100% humidity because the probe is not waterproof nor designed for immersion. This answer clearly shows that the manufacturer has zero understanding of the basic principles of humidity, dew point, condensation vs immersion, nor fundamentals of natural science. We are left with two options... 1) Keep our humidity lower, putting all of our living creatures in our habitat at risk of it getting to dry. 2) Discontinue use and purchase another brand and model. (Obviously, we are going to go with the latter option.) This unit is fine for any dryer terrariums. However, if you have have a high humidity or tropical rainforest type terrarium, I highly recommend that you DO NOT buy this unit.

> 3 dayDefinitely a game changer! Used for legal medical grow tent environment control along with humidifier/exhaust fan & it beats hanging wet towels every couple hours. 3 stars on accuracy because im not sure. I also use a simple digital temp/humidity gauge along with sensor supplied with this controller & theres variances between the two but I take into account the differences between the 2 devices. Which one is more accurate? I make it work. When things are leveled out they are pretty close.
