> 24 hourI bought the humidifier controller for my grow tent where I am growing gourmet mushrooms. It has an outlet (Work1) for the humidifier and one (Work2) for either an exhaust fan or a dehumidifier. However, when the humidity reached the cut off point, the fan wouldnt kick in to lower the humidity, which just kept climbing until it reached the limit (99%) and then the alarm went off. I contacted Inkbird and when I explained the problem—without hesitation—they said they would sent me a new one, which I got today. Good customer service is almost obsolete these days, so I really appreciate Inkbird! Thanks. I hope this one works ok.

> 24 hourFor years Ive been disgruntled at purchased de-humidifiers and their lousy humidity control. The sensors in these products are sloppy at best and often fail over time. The key to this controllers effectiveness is the very accurate sensor itself, the rest is just common sense digital control. The available options and settings for controlling the dehumidifier are top shelf! This also works with humidifiers so am looking forward to doing some testing this winter. I FINALLY know exactly what the humidity level is in my basement and rest assured my power consumption to maintain my desired humidity is minimized. (you can even calibrate this controller if you have a known good dry bulb kit or similar) Yes, the set-up is somewhat confusing, but if you have a basic understanding of humidity and hysteresis settings, its a breeze, and easily adjustable at any time you desire. For the price, this is an amazing control, and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting better humidity control in any environment. Ive had it running for a month now 24/7 with no problems.

> 24 hourI have an air quality sensor board and two weather stations in addition to this humidistat. Even with all of them together in the same place, they disagree with each other by as much as 25%. Im not sure why the error is so high, but Im probably going to go the manual route that we used to use in earth science class to figure out who is telling the truth. In the short term, I put a 12% correction on it to help even out the readings. Beyond that, this does seem to work very well. I will update the review once I figure out the accuracy issue.

> 24 hourI bought this to cycle my console humidifier because the onboard humidistat failed. I used the calibration to roughly calibrate the unit. I keep gauges throughout the house so the actual set point is a reference setting but it is still real close in the end. Keeps the humidity within 1% to 2% in my application and environment. I purchased a second for my dehumidifier in the basement to be used in the summer months. If these continue to work without failure I will upgrade to 5 stars because they do work.

> 24 hourI have used a few of these units to maintain consistent humidity in my orchid cases. Though they aren’t the most intuitive units to setup, they are simple enough with one of the many videos online. The units work great and when I have had issues in the past Inkbird customer support has been amazing, sending a replacement sensor once and sending a replacement unit another time. I highly recommend Inkbird to anyone who needs to control temperature or humidity in an enclosed space!

> 24 hourI was battling high humidity in my flower tent so I got this little gem. Super simple to operate, and it has controlled the humidity within 10% of the set point. If the plants are happy I’m happy, and the plants are happy.

> 24 hourI use it to control an old wick-type room humidifier. All I had to do was plug it in and plug the humidifier into one of the outlets (the other outlet would accept a dehumidifier so you could use both). The instructions for set up require a very close reading, but they are appropriate for the device. You set the desired percent-humidity and the differential; i.e., how far below the desired percent will trigger your humidifier. The differential was pre-set at five percent which was far too great; I re-set it to one percent, the minimum. Now the humidifier shuts off at 35.0% and starts again at 34.0%. The device has been running constantly for about a month, now, and is doing a perfect job.

> 24 hourUsing this and a smart plug you can really dial in your environmental controls on the cheaper side. The only issue I have is with the length of the humidity sensor wire. If this was removable it would offer a lot more versatility for the product.
