> 24 hourUpdate: a couple days later and now it just beeps and says err and wont take any readings Out of box my unit is reading 75-85 humidity in my house. Tried a table salt calibration test and it was reading 86-90 (should be 75). Seems like it is atleast 15-20 percent off and fluctuates pretty wildy. Calibration only compensates up to 10 percent +/-. Looks like the actual sensor has a plug connector so it should be easy to be replace but I havnt been able to pry open the plastic casing that protects it. Contacted the amazon product support and they didnt understand the issue but offered to help me return it.

> 24 hourI like the control setting. But initial setup was a little difficult. Once it was programmed it runs well.

> 24 hourI bought this to cycle my console humidifier because the onboard humidistat failed. I used the calibration to roughly calibrate the unit. I keep gauges throughout the house so the actual set point is a reference setting but it is still real close in the end. Keeps the humidity within 1% to 2% in my application and environment. I purchased a second for my dehumidifier in the basement to be used in the summer months. If these continue to work without failure I will upgrade to 5 stars because they do work.

> 24 hourI have had two of these. They worked really well during the time they actually worked. The first one lasted 5 months, the 2nd one lasted 4 months. So they both stopped working with the same issue. So the problem I ran into both times is, it will not disable the power once the humidity level that is programmed is reached. It still reads the correct humidity level as it climbs and climbs. It will even sound the alarm that was programmed to go off at a certain value. But it will no longer cut power like it used to at the set threshold.

> 24 hourDidnt have instructions. Had to search the deepest corners of the internet to find it. But YouTube saved me. Great product just needs instructions.

> 24 hourThis is good for regulating humidity in reptile and amphibian enclosures. I have had to replace mine, but thats because a 5 foot boa liked climbing on the sensor and pulled the wire. You do need the manual to translate the display while setting it up, but once its set, youre set. I did not rate accuracy because I have not tested it against more precise equipment, nor temperature control because this does not regulate the temperature.

> 24 hourI have never been one to rely on machinery to get the job done, but my oh my, this piece of device is revolutionary. Although it ONLY CONTROLS HUMIDITY, it has been a life saver for setting up microenvironments. Mine did not come super calibrated, but you can adjust the calibration by 10% in either direction and it seems to be pretty spot on. I definitely will be considering getting more InkBird products after noting how useful this equipment is.

> 24 hourI bought the humidifier controller for my grow tent where I am growing gourmet mushrooms. It has an outlet (Work1) for the humidifier and one (Work2) for either an exhaust fan or a dehumidifier. However, when the humidity reached the cut off point, the fan wouldnt kick in to lower the humidity, which just kept climbing until it reached the limit (99%) and then the alarm went off. I contacted Inkbird and when I explained the problem—without hesitation—they said they would sent me a new one, which I got today. Good customer service is almost obsolete these days, so I really appreciate Inkbird! Thanks. I hope this one works ok.

> 24 hourbought this about 2 weeks ago. Pros: it works. cons: after a week and a half of use, it seems to randomly trip Er and alarm goes off. Sometimes it recovers, sometimes it doesnt. You also cant have a low humidity warning go off if the humidity is above 50%. So if you are trying to maintain a 85-95% range, you arent going to get an alert that your humidifier needs more water until it hits 50%.

> 24 hourI bought this controller to use with a Honeywell wicking humidifier. My application is to maintain the humidity of a room where I keep my acoustic guitars. The target humidity range for guitars is pretty narrow (40-50%) and the humidity control on my Honeywell humidifier is not calibrated. This controller is really great, easy to use, and adds precision to an otherwise vague humidifier. In fact, you can also connect a dehumidifier to the other outlet and have even more control over your environment. I can now keep my guitars out of their cases on a stand, and the guitars all sound amazing now (with stable action and proper crowing of the soundboard).
