> 24 hourAfter buying this device I tested the battery life with all functions turned off; no tracking, no logging, no Bluetooth, etc... The device lasted for 30 hours which is far short of the 20 days advertised. I called customer support, and to my pleasant surprise they answered the phone fairly quickly. In short we updated the firmware and reset the device. Then I performed the same test and got the same results similar to other reviews. So, I returned the device and bought a new one assuming I had a faulty device.

> 24 hourTried activating device online: locked. Called Garmin. Rep states that this particular device is either lost or stolen. I dont believe Amazon would sell lost or stolen devices but it doesnt change the fact that Garmin will not activate the device from an unauthorized seller. Waste of time.

> 24 hourCerto, se andiamo a vedere il costo del dispositivo e il costo mensile che bisogna sostenere per tenerlo attivo, non è proprio economico, ma se il tutto lo rapportiamo con la garanzia che cè sempre qualcuno che in situazioni difficili ti supporta e ti può salvare la vita, beh, allora non ha prezzo!

> 24 hourI love going on dirt trails in my Jeep Wrangler. Once your out in the woods, it can be easy to get confused about which turns to take. But not with the InReach Mini. Paired with the Gaia app, this little tracker keeps you on course perfectly. Plus if needed, you can make an emergency shout out. Now I wouldn’t hit the trails without it. This model is really all I needed. A great buy!

> 24 hourThis is awesome. Keeps you safe and everybody informed... Kept my location in the deep drainages at the Grand Canyon. Great to keep family informed of progress. I use for local hikes and hunting just in the event I need it.

> 24 hourSo the battery failed almost exactly at the 1 year point, and they wont sell me a replacement battery, and after waiting on hold for 20 minutes, they wont even repair it. I have to pay$120, and send them my GPS unit, and then they will swap it out for a refurb unit. All over a $5 battery. I essentially have to give them my mint condition GPS, and pay for some crappy refurb, so they can throw in a cheap battery, and resell it for another $120. Be warned, if you plan on buying this garbage.

> 24 hourBattery sucks ( battery died during three day camping trip ). Buttons are difficult to press. Menus are not intuitive. Terms are not intuitive ( not sure what is free and what isn’t covered in your plan )
