I lost my network. I had to physically connect printers that worked on my network. I could barely understand the fellow from Asus customer service. His accent was extreme and I had to ask him to repeat himself many times.

No complaints, first time using hyper speed

Ive had multiple issues in one year with my router. ASUS support is terrible. Still under warranty and being charged to return it to be fixed - for a second time.

Followup to review: I am in error, I was not doing all the necessary settings that caused the issues. This is a much more technical router that requires some network understanding. Netgear routers pretty much do everything for you, this does not. Is this a bad thing? No it just means your going to spend more time making adjustments. The wired side worked fine it was the wireless that when I tried to connect a wireless device to it said No Internet access. A few more adjustments and it was working.

My ISP recently upgraded our speeds.

My Asus wifi router stopped working after 4 months of usage. It stopped working once the electricity came back after a power outage. The Asus representative said the power instability must have damaged the router. The funny thing is, like most households, I have lots of electronic equipment, incl. TVs, Apple TV, modem, clocks, computers, Apple wifi router and a bunch of appliances. This is the ONLY product that got “damaged” by the power coming back after an outage. What a crappy product. Can’t return because it’s past warranty window. So crappy service/warranty on top of crappy product. Don’t buy!

Future proofs my system. Great router!

I dont game on this, I just wanted a very reliable and strong signal superfast router -- and I got it.
