> 3 dayI have over 40 smart devices, bulbs, alarm, garage, etcetera. I had a different router with two extenders (D-Link) and had constant problems with disconnection. Now I have > 600 mbps download and 500 mbps upload (WiFi) with Spectrum service. This is a lot faster than the D-Link provided and greater range too, without extenders. I have had absolutely zero disconnection issues.

> 3 dayI purchased the AX6000 as a replacement for the 5+ y/o AC3100, (Asus RT-AC88U) model which has been a reliable router for me. The form factor was identical which was a bonus since I had the original mounted to a wall plate and all the cabling dressed accordingly. The new router dropped into place with no fuss. WIFI coverage is improved, but some of that is because of using the old router as an AiMesh node with a hardwire backhaul connection to the new model. If there is one ding to the review it is because of an Asus anomaly of the user interface that some changes to the settings will reboot the router without warning you first.

> 3 dayExperiencing the same dropped wifi issue as many other reviewers. However, after I logged in to take a look at the system logs to try to see what was happening, I noticed that the router uptime was only a few minutes, meaning that the wifi drop was actually a reboot. Asus support recommended I return the router straight away, but I escalated to try to get some kind of explanation. Will update if I hear back from them.

> 3 dayRouter does it all, it keeps cool its powerful and can handle anything you throw at it, I run custom merlin firmware and that literally doubles how much I like it, everything keeps up to date you have any type of function you wish to call on it.

> 3 dayThis is my 3rd Asus router. My number one reason for sticking to the brand is the good user interface and the availability of awesome 3rd party firmware like Merlin. Even without the 3rd party firmware this is a very solid router with excellent wifi performance and some nice advanced features that actually work well (VPN, QoS, Game accelerator, mesh capability etc..)

> 3 dayNice Router to setup a mesh network. The router however has a problem with the USB port. The router dies after connecting a device. This happened to two routers. The USB device does not have a problem when connecting to any other USB port on other manufacturers routers.
