> 3 dayThis router has been perfect for our house since day one. I have two of them set up in a mesh system connected via Ethernet, and the connection is always strong and stable. The range is amazing as well! I now get 5GHz coverage over my whole house!

> 3 dayFor my application the mesh isnt necessary, and the coverage is great for a 2000 sq. ft. home (single floor). Ive been in the IT field for over 30 years and this thing is top notch.

> 3 dayFor over 2 years, Ive been a WiFi router beta tester and customer of Welink. As a service to Welink and because I have many WiFi devices in my home (currently 82 thanks to Amazon), Ive tested EVERY major brand router and a number of no names. Welink started me out with 3 TP-Link Deco M5. They were OK but had constant overheating issues so I upgraded to Deco M9. Better but still not perfect.

> 3 dayFor some reason, Asus decided to nerf the RAM to a miserly 512MB, which to me is frustrating for a router over $200 in 2023. This isnt a problem now, but I dont expect it to hold up well in a house full of IoT hardware.

> 3 dayIt is a replacement for Netgear R7000. It has been up and running for 17 days. I am happy so far. Compared with the Netgear which has buggy firmware, Asus Ax88u firmware seems to be more stable and easier to manage. Have not tried WIFI 6, but WIFI 5 signal and coverage are a big boost. BTW, it looks like ASUS is providing a warranty extension, which is sweet.

11-11-2024I really don’t even want to give it a star! My problem isn’t so much with the product as it is with the tech support. It worked for about 3 weeks. I called Amazon who put with the tech support with ASUS. They had me hard rest which didn’t work! They said they would email me on what to do. Then it started working and worked for about 4 days then stopped. I call Amazon for a replacement and get sent back to ASUS tech again we hard reset. I have hard rest 4 times in 2 months! Instead of saying hey let’s send you a replacement then you can send the defective one back so that you will have Internet they want me to hard reset again. I have now been dealing with this since May2021…two months with out internet. I live in a campground with no Wifi so this was what I had to do. Now Amazon wants refund my money cause they don’t have anymore of this model but because it is past the 30 days they are charging me a restocking fee of $53 dollars!!!! So $53 dollars less than what I paid for it! So be ware when buying this product from Amazon!

> 3 dayRouter works well when paired with ax56u. However, its parental controls are very buggy. You set a time schedule and it works for some time and then resets to default schedules all by itself.

> 3 dayBeamforming works, furthest device (4K TV) signal strength goes from 2 bars (idle) to 4 bars when turned on. Speedtest Mpbs much higher than previous AC-88u router
