> 3 dayThe regular size(not nano or micro) T-Mobile simcard works with this one. After you plug it in, open its drive and click on AutoRun. That should install the device to your laptop. A pop-up will appear after the install and just click on connect. This is so easy to use and very convenient to have!

10-11-2024Called T-Mobile about connection to network problems and was told they no longer support this product. Item was returned and credit was received. I purchased the Alcatel 4G LTE GSM T-Mobile device and it works.

> 3 daySelected modem for T-Mobile compatibility to enable deployment using a registered Google Project-Fi Data-Only SIM card. You have to be Project-Fi phone subscriber to get the SIM. Had to obtain a nano-to-micro SIM Adapter. Did not use the supplied Cricket-SIM-card - was never inserted nor activated. Allowed Huawei branded Cricket software to install on Windows 7, and Windows 8,x test systems. Terminated and ignored Cricket online registration actions because was using Project-Fi SIM. Test-site Cell tower signal is good, not excellent, thus 4G LTE Modem functions at about 60% of maximum speed. Price is very reasonable - purchased a second device.

Greater than one weekWorks for my Verizon sim card, and even works with my Sprint one although the speed is pretty slow on that one (3g). and if you dont want those you can use their sim card that came with it, with not a bad price (2 gb for $30/mo). the only thing i wonder is why is it so fat and heavy. Maybe couldve shrunken it down and added an antennae instead.

> 3 dayIf you are wanting to use this modem for T-Mobile, look else where. It is NOT unlocked as advertised and does NOT support T-Mobile 4G/LTE GSM networks. This modem is locked to Cricket and uses crappy proprietary Cricket software. Despite all the positive reviews saying it works with T-Mobile, it doesnt. I wish it did, I wasted my time with this.

> 3 daySuccessfully configured a Raspberry Pi to use this to connect to T-Mobile via ppp0, replacing an ancient T-Mobile Jet 2.0. Definitely faster than the old HSPA+ modem. A wwan0 interface appears when the modem is plugged in, but I have not been able to get that working with T-Mobile, which is too bad since that would be faster than ppp0. Thus four stars rather than five. If I do find a way, Ill revise this review. Update: I was able to use Raspbians qmi-network software to connect to T-mobile via the modems wwan0 interface. Im very happy with it -- a great value.
