After reading all of the reviews, I figured Id give it a shot and glad I did. This LTE modem works with T-Mobile in the US. The process was very easy! 1) Call T-Mobile to add a data line and provide them with your SIM Card Number 2) In Windows 10, go to Network Settings, Cellular, Advanced Options and enter an Internet APN: type a profile name, I used T-Mobile, then enter the APN as epc.tmobile.com. Leave everything else as the default settings, apply the profile, then save. 3) Reboot and surf!

This worked great connected to my asus router as a backup internet connection. First fi data sim they sent me didnt work, so if you just get the flashing green lights, order another sim.

I recently moved to a rural area with no internet. I have service with Cricket, so I purchased this modem and upgraded to the unlimited plan. Cricket currently does not have a data only plan, does not allow tethering with the unlimited plan, and does not allow tethering on my phone (Galaxy 5S) so I was pleased to confirm that this device allows you to bypass these restrictions. Right now I have it plugged directly into my laptop, and I have been getting between 4 and 6 megs/sec download speed. I am very close to a tower, so this is probably the best speed you can expect. My only hiccup was that this device takes a larger sim card than the one I took out of my phone. There is probably an adapter available, but with a little trial and error I was able to position my tiny sim in the correct position such that it works.

Works easily out of the box. Might have to manually input the APN. For anyone that wants to use this on the interior of their machine or computer and doesnt get a signal (I have mine in a 4U server chassis and couldnt receive) you need an external antenna. I had asked on here but nobody could answer. However, I managed to purchase a couple and found one that worked. 8dB US Cellular Huawei UML397 E397 USB Modem External Antenna https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00VVWVS70/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_xiQeAbJC88R1A

Works with a Google Project Fi data-only sim. Had some issues with getting the sim card to work reliably, occasionally getting SIM errors, hence 4 stars.

Works perfect. T mobile on plus 4G lte plan sim card (you will need the largest sim card, T Mobil will give you a free kit at any shop) Works perfectly on windows 10. Installed the driver with the autorun when plugged in usb port. Restarted my computer and bam mobile internet! Attached picture for speed.

Perfect for Project Fi - it really is as easy as popping out the included prepaid SIM card and putting in the Fi Data SIM. This dongle works on Fi with the included Cricket software (you can even point the new-connection page to the Project Fi website, which lets you check your data usage each time you connect). The most difficult part of installation is dealing with the Fi Nano-SIM. There is no option for a full-size SIM, according to Fi Customer Support. I would recommend a nSIM-to-SIM adapter, but since I had already used mine in another device, and the Fi SIM was still attached to the little punch-out card it was delivered in, I used it to create a ghetto SIM adapter. I traced a full-size SIM around the nano-SIM (with the contacts lined up where they were supposed to be) and cut out a SIM-shaped section of the card with the NanoSIM inside it. Its a little thick, but it keeps the card exactly where it needs to be and saved me another $2 for an adapter.
