> 24 hourPerfect detail grooming shears at a super price. When I misplaced mine, I made the mistake of buying a cheaper two-pack of scissors from a competing company. No bueno! I came right back to these; they are far superior. I found my other pair and now use those as a “backup.” The old ones (purchased four years ago) still work great but you can tell the new ones are sharper, naturally. They work for left or right hand.

> 24 hourI am very grateful to this company for its prompt replacement when I had a problem with my purchase. Not only did the company respond in a timely manner but the communication and commitment to their customers is second to none. My integrity was not questioned and a replacement was delivered to me straight away. I have NEVER seen or heard of a company that communicates without delay and fixes any problems in an extremely timely manner. I give this product 5 big stars the scissor is very sharp and does not pull or tug on your pets hair. I will not support anyone that gives these scissors anything but 5 stars. They are exactly as the description states. Now if they are broken or damage in any way I can understand lower stars. Things happen in shipping that is out of a companies control. Perhaps a 4 star feedback for the inconvenience of the problem. But how can anyone honestly give a product a feedback score lower than a 4 as long as the company selling the product replaces the item in a timely manner without hesitation and communicates without delay? To me this is dishonest and unfair and I myself highly find it unfair to give low feedback to a company that stands behind its products. I recommend these scissors for grooming both animals and humans as well. They are sharp, sturdy, and actually very attractive. All things show wear in time but as long as they perform in satisfactory condition and begin to show NORMAL wear like scratches etc. - be honest with yourself and do the right thing and that is 5 VERY BIG *S*T*A*R*S for feedback is the only way to go. And lets face it wear means they are being used and that is what you purchased them for not to be showcased. I choose to think of wear as positive character. GREAT COMPANY!!!

> 24 hourMy dog is so stubborn its impossible to get a pair of cutting scissors near her, but these small shears makes it so much easier to get close without her fidgeting as much. Shes still difficult but Ive managed to chop off so much hair near her eyes! I love the round tip, makes me less nervous about injuring her

> 24 hourThe original review (which Ive left intact below) was read by the seller and immediate action was taken. A new set of scissors were sent to me, along with a gift for my trouble. The new set works well so it seems that I got a defective pair initially. The customer service from this company is beyond stellar and I would be pleased to make purchases from them in the future. The non-cutting tips of these scissors are hard to get used to. While a regular scissor will cut all the hair in its path, these dont cut the hair at the end (obviously) so the user needs to open the scissors before moving them. This is not the usual way I scissor so it is hard to remember to do this.

> 24 hourThis is a really good product. I have a very small Yorkie (about 3 pounds) and she hates having her face and her legs and paws clipped. You would think I was coming after her with a stun gun. She has been this way since she was little. Just in case any one thinks there must be a reason. She loves me. I am handicapped and home most of the time. If I am here...she is in my lap. If I set her down for a minute she is pawing to be picked up. She just has always been scared of getting her hair cut in these areas. She also hates having her nails clipped. Now this product helped. She cant hear the snip, snip of the scissors at first. I can get about one paw done until she figures out I am messing with her paws. That is good because just picking up the scissor before and she was trying to get away. It still is a long process, but these scissors have definitely made a difference.

> 24 hourI bought this and thought product was just not sharp as it wouldnt cut nicely after just about 5 uses. Well, this company sent me a new pair after reading my 1 star review i posted of how unsatisfied i was. I received my new pair and indeed proved that i just received a broken pair the first time. Have been meaning to change my review for a while now but kept forgetting. Today, almost about a year after receiving a new pair, i received a letter from the company (Scaredy cut) in regards to the new replacement i got. holly @#$^ i said. they still want me to change that review (giggled and went straight to my computer). All in all, just want to let you all know that this company is serious about you being 100% happy with the purchase. Its hard to find with people that actually cares about customer satisfaction, so buy with confidece.

> 24 hourIm trying everything to get my dog to let me trim his beard and face. He runs the minute we go to the scissor drawer. Ive tried making him accustom to the sound, but he still squirms away. I bought these scissors, hoping they would work. The definitely cut, and definitely have a very subdued scissor sound. Still, Archie wont have it. After purchasing these, I got an email from Scaredy Cut asking if the scissors worked. I told them at that point the dog was still refusing. They were lovely. They refunded my purchase. I didnt expect it and was very impressed with their concern for their brand. They now have a customer for life. (and were still trying with archie...its not the scissors fault)

> 24 hourUpdate, August 4, 2015: Michael from Scaredy Cut contacted me after this review. He sent out new scissors, that he tested, and also offered to refund my money if I still wasnt satisfied. The new scissors are much sharper so far. I appreciate the great customer service. Ive changed my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. I also appreciate that no one from Scaredy Cut contacted me to revise my review - I just believed it was the right thing to do. -------------------------------------- Disappointed. After using these only about 5 times to trim my small dogs face and paws they became too dull to cleanly cut the hair. I love the rounded tip so I dont have to worry about stabbing his eyeball when he or I fidgets, but now the scissors arent any better than my kids craft cutters. A lot of the hair slides through instead of cutting on each cut, so I have to repeat the motion a couple times each pass. And its not like Im trying to cut big chunks at a time - Im just trimming bits at a time.
