Tiny Trim 4.5 Ball-Tipped Scissor for Dog, Cat and all Pet Grooming - Ear, Nose, Face & Paw - Scaredy Cuts small Safety Scissor

Was very excited to get these and use on my two Yorkies. The scissors were so dull they made it worse to groom my pets. All the scissors did was pull the hair and cause pain. The blunt tip was a really good idea but only if the scissors are sharp, and I cant even see where they can be sharpened because they have a serredge edge. Could not use !!!!! That is what I sent first without contacting the seller, I just assumed they wouldnt correct the problem of such a small nature, BOY! Was I wrong not only did they read my one star review they contacted me by email and apologize for the faulty product and said that can happen at times, they refunded my money and sent me another pair of scissors that they said they personally tested for sharpness hoped that this would correct the problem, I am so impressed with their customer service not to mention the scissors were awesome. My yorkies and I will come back often. Thanks for caring.

Works well with small dog

These are now my favorite scissors for trimming my cats fur. Hes special and cant groom himself as well as other cats, so he needs a bit of assistance. These little scissors are just right for him. Theyre sharp, the blunt ends keep his sensitive skin safe, theyre reasonably comfortable to use, and theyre also silent. My little guy cant stand clippers and some scissors Ive used made a clicking noise he didnt like either. So these are working perfectly. And considering the price, Id be happy to buy a new pair if they ever get dull (but so far they havent). I mostly use them to make tiny cuts to his matted or messy fur, not for cutting away anything big or making long cuts, and they excel at this. Hes a very scaredy cat and so these are just perfect for him!

Used this to trim ear hairs instead of hair pulling which is very painful. Love the rounded edges that had a safety feature.

Sharp. Helps trim small hair that grows near puppy’s eyes/nose. Rounded end provides safety feature. Helps to have a sleepy or tired puppy before attempting to cut in this area!

If I could, I would give 5 stars for this company’s customer service but unfortunately at this point, i can’t for the product. I was very pleased with the scissors at the beginning but after a couple of groomings, they became very loose and it would not let me tighten it enough. I contacted the company and they immediately sent out a second pair. These had a tiny washer with the screw which kept them tighter but after a few snips, the very first time I used them, they would get looser and looser and I kept having to tighten them, which is very annoying and time consuming. They also did not seem as sharp as the first pair did initially. The hair would “fold” into the scissors. I don’t know if it’s hit or miss with these scissors. I will be contacting the company again and try for a third pair and see if the third time is the charm. If it is, I will update this review. UPDATE: I was mailed not one, but two new scissors, free of charge and once again, I cannot say enough about this company’s outstanding customer service. This time one of the scissors worked very well and the other one worked well (not as good as the other one but still good). I am happy with this purchase since I groom my six Havanese myself and need a great pair of scissors. I have purchased other brands and these are the best (once I got a good pair) so these are the ones I use constantly. Thank you Scaredy Cut, for caring enough to keep trying until it was right! This company stands behinds its guarantee. Excellent products for trimming your dogs fur. I have a Goldendoodle and a Golden Retriever and these scissors and the Silent grooming kit are awesome!

This is a nice scissor for cutting out knots and mats in our cats fur. Just the right size and length. The one that we received was very sharp and has a micro serrated edge like good quality human hair cutting scissors. The small rubber bumper on the handle did fall off but a bit of super glue reattached it. This is a vital tool for the grooming of our long haired kitty.
