My first review is below. Having received a new pair to try, I am changing my review. I highly recommend these scissors. They are nice and sharp and the ball tips make it safe to cut around eyes, etc. Before, I used the old pair just around the eyes for safety sake. With this new pair, I used it all over. I guess I was probably one of the few unlucky ones to get my first pair that was not sharp enough. I highly recommend these scissors! Old review: I find they work only one way - in other words, they only cut when facing one way and not the other which is very strange. They are not the greatest but the rounded end protects dogs eyes so I use them

Very easy to use and alot less scary when working around my little dogs face.

I bought these scissors to remove mats from my elderly, frail Maine Coon Cat. The short blade makes them very maneuverable in hard to reach places. They are VERY sharp. I was removing a mat on my cat’s right front shoulder when he decided to move. I inadvertently snipped a quarter size chunk of skin and hair. A televisit with my vet spared my kitty a traumatic visit. We treated with peroxide and bacitracin without needing sutures and it is healing well without infection. Please, please use great care with these scissors.

Update May 25, 2017 So I was quite surprised to find a package from scaredy cut in the mail today, and I wasnt sure what to expect. But the box was big enough that I thought it might be something like scissor sharpener or something. I was delighted to see not only a full size pair of their shears, but a check for a full refund on this item and their clipper set that I had bought. I had opted not to receive a refund because sometimes its just too much of a hassle. So for the company to send me an unbidden refund check, was surprising and refreshing. I appreciate a company that stands behind their product. So 5 star review is for their stellar customer service, commitment to customer satisfaction, and the desire to improve their product based on customer insight. These scissors are sharp and pretty decent. However, the pad that is supposed to prevent the handles from clicking popped off the first time I opened it. When I finally found that tiny little piece on the carpet, I put it back in only to have it fall out again, and this time I havent been able to find it. Id give these scissors 5 if they successfully delivered what they promised.

Game. Changer. I have owned dogs my whole life, usually a poodle-mixed breed. Their fur seems to grow quickly and can tend to knot, so I like to trim them often myself at home. Lately, I have found it more difficult to groom around their precious faces and between their cute little toes & paw pads with the hair cutting shears that I usually use. I’m always so afraid of poking or hurting them with the sharp tip ESPECIALLY considering my pups can sometimes make quick, sudden movements while I am trimming or grooming. So I looked up a solution, and these extremely affordable doggy grooming trimmers are (in my opinion) THE ANSWER! I can’t believe I didn’t find these much earlier in life. It has made grooming my fur babies SO much easier and way less stressful on both of us. Highly recommend!

My dog would NOT hold still for me to trim her face before I purchased these wonderful scissors. For whatever reason (quietness, smoothing cutting action, size?) my dog is soooo much better with these. Now trimming her face (along with feet and other delicate areas) is a quick process. Im so glad I found these. Thanks to everyone who wrote reviews so I knew what a gem these little shears could be.

This is exactly what I needed to trim my Cavalier King Charles puppys under-paw hair. She was a little apprehensive at first and squirmed but eventually she got comfortable and actually fell asleep while I was trimming the hair. The rounded tip makes me really feel safe like I wont hurt her even if she squirms or moves a bit. At the same time the blades are sharp enough that they cut through her fine fur the first time and I dont need to go back again on the same spots, making the process quick for me and for her. I will be using these scissors for trims probably the rest of her life and love them so much!

Perfect product for my needs. My furry cat formed many knots on the abdominal and butt area. Because it used to be a non-adoptable cat and only got use to me after few months, I called a mobile grooming service, but they were unable to catch the cat :)) in my apartment in order to get her to the grooming car. I searched for solutions online, saw your product on Amazon and decided to buy it praying I will be able to do the grooming myself. When my cat was next to me for one of her petting sessions I used the Tiny Trim and cut all the fur knots. She is usually a scaredy cat, but apparently did not feel anything unpleasant while i was going around her and cutting the knots. This product is not only totally painless, but it seems that my cat enjoyed it while I was grooming her. Thank you very much Scaredy Cut. I have also purchased your brush and I use it daily on Mitzi. She turns around to get brushed all over. I will prevent her to get new fur knots, but even if that happens, I got the Tiny Trim :)

I know these scissors are made for pet grooming, but we used these to remove and change my dogs bandages. She has cancer tumors on her leg that bleed and have to be constantly changed. These scissors cut through the adhesive tape and the heavy gauze with such ease, we werent afraid of accidentally poking her. So glad I chose these - they work great.
