> 3 dayI do a lot of embroiderary and appliqué! I have have a broad assortment of tiny, sharp, pointed scissors at my disposal! But, not one of them is suitable for trimming the tiny places around my tiny, active Bichon puppy because of their sharp points. I purchased the scissors because they were so reasonably priced, but, frankly, I didnt expect much. I was pleasantly surprised when I unwrapped my pair of scissors! They have a nice heft to them and the tiny serrations are just like the ones on my tiny, very expensive embroidary scissors. Those tiny serrations make a big difference! My pair of scissors have a tiny black bumper which make the cuts virtually silent! And, they have those nicely rounded points that are far less likely to harm a squirming pup! I am wondering if Scaredy Cut would be willing to tackle a super product for safely removing those tiny hairs in the delicate ears? Hint! Hint?

> 3 dayI love these scissors! I have a little furry dog who doesnt enjoy grooming at all and gets lot of knots and tangles and picks up every stray branch and leaf in a 5 mile radius. She gets wiggly while grooming and I was constantly worried about cutting her especially when working around her face and ears (long floppy ears!). I gave her a knick once and spent the next 30 minutes feeding her treats because I felt so terrible. Im obviously still very careful when using these scissors, but the ball-tipped ends make me feel a bit safer (and so far I havent cut her!). Theyre also small enough to navigate around her furry, wiggly body and sharp so one cut is all it takes. No pulling, trying to get through the knot several times etc. Awesome all around.

> 3 dayUpdate May 25, 2017 So I was quite surprised to find a package from scaredy cut in the mail today, and I wasnt sure what to expect. But the box was big enough that I thought it might be something like scissor sharpener or something. I was delighted to see not only a full size pair of their shears, but a check for a full refund on this item and their clipper set that I had bought. I had opted not to receive a refund because sometimes its just too much of a hassle. So for the company to send me an unbidden refund check, was surprising and refreshing. I appreciate a company that stands behind their product. So 5 star review is for their stellar customer service, commitment to customer satisfaction, and the desire to improve their product based on customer insight. These scissors are sharp and pretty decent. However, the pad that is supposed to prevent the handles from clicking popped off the first time I opened it. When I finally found that tiny little piece on the carpet, I put it back in only to have it fall out again, and this time I havent been able to find it. Id give these scissors 5 if they successfully delivered what they promised.

> 3 dayMy original review (paragraph 2) was accurate in that the scissors received did not cut well. However, the seller did supply a second pair of the same scissors (which they had personally tested for sharpness) and I have found those to work quite well. I did update my review with the third paragraph below, but wanted to make sure the update was seen so am inserting this new first paragraph. These Tiny Trim small pet grooming scissors seemed not quite sharp enough to me, an inexperienced, first-time, pet groomer. It is difficult enough trying to just hold onto my dogs paw (she hates having her feet touched) so it would have been good to have a nice sharp cut instead of having to cut again and again in the same spot to get through the hair. However, the seller sent me a gratis second pair of Tiny Trim scissors and those seemed to work much better. I would buy them again.

> 3 dayI originally posted before and I was not satisfied but this company made it right reached out to me and fix my issue. I am happy with the scissors they work great. They are better than any other Scissors I’ve ever had. I would recommend these for trimming your dog as I use it for my Shih Tzu around her face. They are sharp and lightweight and cut really great. I bought a pair many years ago and lost them but they stayed sharp until I lost them then I purchased this pair and these are still great.

> 3 dayI have a Yorkshire Terrier who does not let me any where near his face to clean the gook from his eyes or a simple trim... PERIOD!. I have tried time n time again to do it myself and Ive even used my eyebrow scissors...crazy right? My scissors are small, sharp & very dangerous. I was always scared when i tried trimming him up...not anymore. These Scaredy Cut tiny trim stainless steel scissors are perfect. As soon as I got em, I opened em up & started trimming away. Theyre sharp & cut so very smooth. No problems whatsoever. He sat through it like a champ & I wasnt on edge thinking Id cut him if he were to move. I highly recommend these scissors, theyre great & the price is right. Im really glad I purchased these and for all them. Scaredy Cut gets 5 stars across the board! One more thing..when u purchase these you wont have to make extra tips to the groomer for a simple trim...you can do it yourself!

> 3 dayMy rescue dog - a chow and golden retriever mix - has super sensitive skin and is skittish and easily scared. The groomer had to muzzle her because she snapped, so I decided to try grooming her myself. I bought a ton of different tools and tried them all - this was the hands-down winner (and the least expensive!) and is the only thing I use now other than a standard brush. Its small and takes a while, but the blades are really effective - I trim around her ears, her entire tummy, backs of all four legs, and thin out her tail a bit (we walk on the trails a lot and she was picking up dirt, burs, ticks, etc.) She remains very relaxed when I groom her with these little scissors, and I dont have to worry about accidentally hurting her. The blades were very tight when the scissors arrived, but I had read in a review that they might might need to be adjusted with a screwdriver. This just took a moment to do, and then they were perfect. Confession: I rinsed them off and used them to trim my bangs - they worked great!

> 3 dayI love these. My little dog loves these. I can trim hair at her eyes, snout, paws and privates without fear of poking her or pup reacting to clipping sounds. My only wish is for the finger holes to be a comfort grip, little larger and padded or rubberized in some way. I have rheumatoid arthritis and sometimes my finger/joints are swollen so it gets difficult to use. Other than that personal wish on my list these are perfect. Shipped quickly and looked new and unused. So good, these are my second pair.

> 3 dayUpdate, August 4, 2015: Michael from Scaredy Cut contacted me after this review. He sent out new scissors, that he tested, and also offered to refund my money if I still wasnt satisfied. The new scissors are much sharper so far. I appreciate the great customer service. Ive changed my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. I also appreciate that no one from Scaredy Cut contacted me to revise my review - I just believed it was the right thing to do. -------------------------------------- Disappointed. After using these only about 5 times to trim my small dogs face and paws they became too dull to cleanly cut the hair. I love the rounded tip so I dont have to worry about stabbing his eyeball when he or I fidgets, but now the scissors arent any better than my kids craft cutters. A lot of the hair slides through instead of cutting on each cut, so I have to repeat the motion a couple times each pass. And its not like Im trying to cut big chunks at a time - Im just trimming bits at a time.

> 3 dayThese tiny scissors are perfect for home grooming and trimming my Bichon and Maltese dogs. Out of the package, this scissor is very sharp and its small size allows me to carefully and precisely cut the hair around my dogs faces and muzzles. The ball-tipped ends are a nice safety feature, preventing the ends from poking and injuring my pets. I have been using the scissors for about 2 weeks so I cannot vouch for long term durability or sharpness. The finger holes are snug which prevents the scissors from slipping from my hand, but as a result, they can get a bit stuck on my fingers. I have an average to large size womans hand. This is not a problem for me as I prefer to have a firm grip on the scissors, but it might be an issue for someone with larger fingers.
