My dog would NOT hold still for me to trim her face before I purchased these wonderful scissors. For whatever reason (quietness, smoothing cutting action, size?) my dog is soooo much better with these. Now trimming her face (along with feet and other delicate areas) is a quick process. Im so glad I found these. Thanks to everyone who wrote reviews so I knew what a gem these little shears could be.

My dog is super skiddish so I’m always scared to cut him. But these scissors are sharp and precise I was able to do my dogs ears ! He also has matting so was able to cut those long hairs that were tangled.

Bought these to trim my dogs face. Work perfectly. Don’t know if they are professional quality, but work great for me. Not afraid to trim around eyes and face, between grooms.

The rounded tip is NOT FINISHED SANDED or rounded edges. It literally cuts anything it makes contact with. This is SO DANGEROUS especially if you are working near the eyes. It makes me angry that someone would sell something that in the first place was purchased so one could go near areas such as the animals eyes or anal area to buy something trust in the production and its razor sharp doing the OPPOSITE of whats intended. I wish I could magnify the tip where even my eye shows the area has been SHARPENED ..unbelievably wrong!

This has been a very good purchase. I have a Papillion who dislikes sitting still for too long and I am always scared I will poke her with the scissors when I am doing any tidying up on her because she suddenly moves and wants to get going and play outside. But these scissors have proven to be a good safe option with the ball tip, and they are serrated which holds her very fine silky hair. They dont make a click or other scissory noise so it doesnt concern her when you are using them. And I got them in pink as shes a little girl!. Unlike many products around today this product is very well engineered and sturdily made; it is not cheap and flimsy. I highly recommend this product to other owners.

It is a little small and I think, slightly larger would be better, but it cuts fur and my hair-cutting scissors, which I paid twice as much for, didnt, or, more accurately, my kitty would have none of it. The tiny serrated edge, so small its hard to see, seems to be what makes the difference and I was able to get a few snips in before my cat even concerned enough about what I was doing to get up. I still cant groom the furry monster in one sitting, but being able to get a few snips done without her turning into a tasmanian devil is a huge improvement. I love these little scissors cause they actually work. The balled edge (not pointy) is a plus too. For cat fur trimming for the non professional, this is a great little scissor. A+, 6 stars and all that.

Scaredy asked about my review but I dont know how to get to them. These scissors are what I needed but when I tried to trim my dogs foot hair they just pushed the fur away from the blade and it was almost impossible to keep her still and get all the hairs I needed to cut and even trying to cut away threads on a small rug I had to grab them and saw away trying to get the blades to get a hold on them. I just wanted a sharp, rounded tip scissors but these are a disappointment. CAD This previous review was picked up by Scaredy Cut and they informed me that they were sending another scissors to replace the ones that were not working well and I was surprised. I did receive the new scissors and they work perfectly and are sharp. I realize these things happen sometimes but I was amazed that the company cared so much as to immediately replace them. These work well on trimming my little dogs foot fur and trimming other areas. It makes a world of difference not only in the new scissors but the fact that a company could care about how the product performed. CAD

Nice quality and sharp scissors. This is my second pair so I can have one pair at home and the other in our camper. Would not want to without them. They are nice to cut out any beginning matting in my Shidzu. Blunt ends are safe around the eyes and lips. Would definitely buy again. I have had my first pair around 4 years and still sharp.

I bought this and thought product was just not sharp as it wouldnt cut nicely after just about 5 uses. Well, this company sent me a new pair after reading my 1 star review i posted of how unsatisfied i was. I received my new pair and indeed proved that i just received a broken pair the first time. Have been meaning to change my review for a while now but kept forgetting. Today, almost about a year after receiving a new pair, i received a letter from the company (Scaredy cut) in regards to the new replacement i got. holly @#$^ i said. they still want me to change that review (giggled and went straight to my computer). All in all, just want to let you all know that this company is serious about you being 100% happy with the purchase. Its hard to find with people that actually cares about customer satisfaction, so buy with confidece.

I am very grateful to this company for its prompt replacement when I had a problem with my purchase. Not only did the company respond in a timely manner but the communication and commitment to their customers is second to none. My integrity was not questioned and a replacement was delivered to me straight away. I have NEVER seen or heard of a company that communicates without delay and fixes any problems in an extremely timely manner. I give this product 5 big stars the scissor is very sharp and does not pull or tug on your pets hair. I will not support anyone that gives these scissors anything but 5 stars. They are exactly as the description states. Now if they are broken or damage in any way I can understand lower stars. Things happen in shipping that is out of a companies control. Perhaps a 4 star feedback for the inconvenience of the problem. But how can anyone honestly give a product a feedback score lower than a 4 as long as the company selling the product replaces the item in a timely manner without hesitation and communicates without delay? To me this is dishonest and unfair and I myself highly find it unfair to give low feedback to a company that stands behind its products. I recommend these scissors for grooming both animals and humans as well. They are sharp, sturdy, and actually very attractive. All things show wear in time but as long as they perform in satisfactory condition and begin to show NORMAL wear like scratches etc. - be honest with yourself and do the right thing and that is 5 VERY BIG *S*T*A*R*S for feedback is the only way to go. And lets face it wear means they are being used and that is what you purchased them for not to be showcased. I choose to think of wear as positive character. GREAT COMPANY!!!
